Also, this bag is listed as a Coach made in Italy. I'm not as familiar with those bags, any insight?

Item: Coach Bucket
Seller: juniorsmint
eBay Listing: 122456194975
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/122456194975?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

It's a genuine Duffle Sac from 1997.The brass-color hangtag isn't original to the bag.

Coach made a lot of styles in Italy in the 1990s. Many of the lines from that period like Sheridans, Sonomas, Madisons and more were made there, some were made ONLY there. The Salearea Coach Guides include one just on some of the Italian-made styles:

Please read and follow the directions in post number One for the information we REQUIRE for authentications:

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.
  • Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.

Are you asking that so the poster will compare prices and maybe find a better value?

Wasn't really asking. Made the comment it was dang expensive but then obliterated it because it really isn't my business, (But on the item site there were two more listed at the bottom going for a lot less. I did not assume authenticity or not of any, or condition. I was only glancing briefly at the style, not looking further.
And I agree use the search engine but sometimes it doesn't include all.
I can't figure out why my response is not out of the quote box.

It's authentic.

We need to keep in mind that just because other listings that look similar and may be have the same style number come up in searches doesn't mean that all those listings that look alike are authentic. Counterfeiters can and do put "correct" serial numbers on fakes and if you don't know what to look for, you can be fooled into thinking a fake is authentic.

No one should judge authenticity of a bag just because the bag looks like it's supposed to look.

The following are 2 examples of fakes with "correct" style numbers:

Oh absolutely. My fake had the right bag number, wrong date of manufacture for its style. I would not assume ever to comment on authenticity. If I take chances there, I do it for me only .
I bought my Legacy duffle long before I found this place.

Yep, the Reply button sometimes seems to have a mind of it's own.

I've usually found that Ebay's Search works well unless Ebay is trying to push searchers toward certain sellers or listings, but they do that even more with those "selected" recommendations on the listing page, not to mention the Sponsored link they put right at the start of the recommendations - trust me, Ebay's recommendations are NOT always going to be for the least expensive!

Frankly I don't completely trust any of Ebay's suggestions or Search results but a well-phrased Search will usually give a much better collection of listings to consider. Sure, there are always going to be fakes and lousy sellers and screwed-up listings no matter which one you use but there's no harm in checking both as long as you go through the normal Authentication steps for whatever listings you pick, and always make sure you can see a photo of the bag's creed and serial number.
