You are a doll! Thank you Hyacinth
Any idea if it is something sought after by collectors? Debating on whether to restore and sell or hold on to it.

No, I don't think so. Scarcity seldom equates to increased value when it comes to handbags, unless it's a genuine Bonnie Cashin or something comparable. I've seen a few other West Ends and they sell for the same kind of price range as other classic or vintage Coaches. There are only 5 posts listed here at tPF that mention the line.

ETA - I DID find a catalog page from the Fall 1992 catalog. Click on the thumbnail to open.

I will hold on to it then. Thank you again

Would you please authenticate? Prepare to laugh - I was a bad shopper and didn't read the creed until just now! [emoji23]

Item: Classic Hobo
Seller: Goodwill (in my possession)
Comments: this is a Hail Mary post - weren't there authentic Bean bag creeds in 1990 when this bag was made? also note the unusual bottom panel piece

Don't worry, it's a genuine Classic Hobo 9855. The Bean Bag creed even gives us a production date of very late 1990.

It's fake.
Although the above fake was removed, PRIDKARE also has this fake:

The pictures aren't adequate for authentication purposes.

See post #1 for the required pictures needed, particularly the part in boldface where it tells what additional pictures are needed for newer bags with creeds sans serial numbers.
