Generally I've made a rule (to myself) not to authenticate Poshmark listings and not to recommend buyers OR sellers ti do business there but I'll make an exception to my own "rule." (Poshmark has a long history of allowing fakes, allowing scammers and not responding to reports when submitted. ANd in cases where items are questioned, their own "team" has called fakes as authentic and authentic items as fake.)

Does your buyer say why she thinks it's fake? The bag is absolutely authentic and is called Bleecker embossed small Cooper from 2013.

If you'd like, refer the buyer here to express her concerns.

Thank you SO much for helping me out even though you have reservations about the app!
I have never really had an issue with selling until now.
I have heard some horror stories recently about Poshmark siding with the buyer for "fake" items when it was 100% authentic.
That's what is worrying to me.

I had that bag name listed in the title and also provided those pictures
She is new user and just opened the case without any type of communication so I'm not sure on the reasoning.
I did send her a couple of messages letting her know about purseforum and that
she can post herself if that helps. I will send another one directing her to this thread and let her know

We had a lot of authentication requests for "acoachcollection.wordpress.com" back in 2012 and 2013. Most of them looked ok but there was an iffy Lenox Bag here

and also

and maybe some others, I just don't feel like going through 6 pages of links. The seller seems to have left the site 3 years ago anyway. Maybe it's because of my old browser but I don't see any actual blog posts or any prices or other details, just photos and links.
It looks like Porter4 was the blogger. She hasn't been on TPF since January, 2016. I can't figure out whether she sold those bags or if she was just using her blog as an image hoster. But the title of the blog, "A catalog of great finds" seems to imply (at least presumed) authenticity.

There have been horror stories going the other way; buyer receiving a fake, verifying it here, filing a legitimate claim, PM ruling against the buyer, buyer SENDING fake Coach bag in to PM for their "expert" authenticators to examine who deemed a 100% fake bag as authentic!

(The debacle is documented here in AT Coach after it happened to @houseof999 and @houseofcoach999. If she sees this post, she might chime in to confirm.)

Wow! That's terrible!
Stories like that make it hard for both buyers and sellers to feel safe with transactions.

Can anyone help me?
I got a Rogue as a weeding present and I think it is a replica. Here is why...
No key
No key holder in the inside
The leather tag has the model #

I have read rogue comes with the number 20315 on the leather tag which is not the actual model of the bag.

Help please

I'm not familiar enough with the style to authenticate but I can tell you that later versions don't have a key and have the creed number on the creed patch, so I wouldn't get worried just yet.

Yup. I have bought another fake from Posh Mark since then that didn't have any serial number. Filed a case for review and was surprised that they decided to refund me. Specially after the first time they told me it was a one time courtesy to refund me. Their authenticators aren't as knowledgeable as the authenticators here. But apparently they knew that this style was supposed to have a serial number. I was definitely not counting on them knowing that or getting any refunds after my first fake purchase from them.

Found this bag at a thrift store, but when I got it home I realized it's almost certainly a fake, because the number doesn't match the style. But I'd appreciate an expert opinion!

It's about 10.5" wide, 8" tall (not including the straps.

Thanks!

FAKE. The font used for both the creed and serial numbers are wrong, the way the handles are attached is wrong, and That's NOT a style 4150. The date code for June 1995 is also 4 years too early for when that style was actually made (1999). Maybe it's the lighting but the "R" in "variations" looks odd. Get your money back. Those Bleecker styles were widely faked.

I will really like to get more info. I am very nervous.
I recently ranted about Coach and the changes they make, fixes of things that aren't broken, rules that change with the wind and then, after they make changes, they revert to previous ways and that they're really pissing me off. I'll spare you another rant!

I don't see anything that indicates that your bag isn't authentic but I can't find any comps. Too many sellers don't have the right pictures that are necessary to authenticate the bags and get more definitive guidelines on what dates/months they made their changes.

Hi! I'm a newbie to the forum.
Can someone please authenticate this bag for me? Thanks!
