That's why it didn't look odd to me. According to the catalog pictures, Broadway satchels aren't supposed to have rivets; Madison satchels are.
Ok, glad I mentioned the rivets. Thanks for posting the pictures, I looked at several online pics and saw that the Broadway did not have rivets. This one looked strange to me when received, and all the other Madison's are showing with rivets.

Can I assume that the Factory placed the wrong straps or someone replaced the straps and this bag is authentic?
Thanks so much previous posters

I believe it is authentic. I think the mistake happened at the factory. Perhaps @Hyacinth will give her opinion too. If you want to return it, I believe you would have grounds since that would be considered a defect.

It's either a factory mistake or the handles have been replaced, which I think is more likely.

Item: Willis (not!)
Link: Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/371903206125
Seller: debp2528
Comment: can I get a confirmation of fake please before reporting?

Yes, made in the style of Station bag but has the style number of a Willis bag in the serial number.

Yes, it's fake. Even if the factory had made a mistake in the number, the creed font is wrong, and the turnlock is too low.
I missed the listing that @houseof999 posted as it's been removed.

Did the seller debp2528 relist it or does she have 2 fakes?!?!?

And in case the listing poofs, here are a couple of pictures. Do not buy from debp2528.

I think she relisted as the pics are identical. She changed her title and removed Willis from the title. Already reported.

Thanks I put a claim on paypal since she keeps denying a return and even admits there could be a defect since she didn't even look at the bag. It's weird she keeps telling me to exchange it myself and she won't refund and doesn't actually have the receipt with her. She said her friend works at Coach and has the receipt which is really weird to me. So hopefully paypal will let me return and make her refund my money. If not I am screwed and learned my lesson lol. I will come here before buying anything from now on but I think I will just stick to buying from the actual Coach store from now on... thanks for all your help!
Her story keeps changing and IMO, that's another red flag.

Escalate the dispute when able and if by chance you lose the dispute in Paypal, you can file through your credit card company (if you used a c.c. to fund the payment). Hold off on the chargeback until you have to use it as a last resort.)

As for sticking to buying from the Coach store, that's not necessary in most cases and often, it's the only way to find a HTF or discontinued item. There are many honest sellers.

Just come here before buying.

Hi, I bought a burgundy Coach Lyla Crossbody purse on Poshmark and want to verify that it is authentic. This is my first time posting here so please let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

Listing: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-Leather-Lyla-Crossbody-NWT-5844b673c28456d61c00a813

FOR COMPARISON:
I borrowed a black Lyla crossbody to compare it with the burgundy one I bought and noticed some differences (see in photos below). Unfortunately I'm not actually 100% sure the black one is authentic either :-( Is it possible both are authentic and they are just models from different years??
The black one has a covered zipper end:

The black one also has a different creed inside (with a serial number)

Any help would be very much appreciated! :-)
