please wait for other opinions but I suspect that bag is fake and either has a fake bullet or was returned to Coach who didn't have a clue about authenticity and accepted it and sent it to the outlet.

Please Authenticate! I believe it is Vintage and the Creed ends in only 3 numbers & I can't seem to find the bag anywhere online. Measurements are approx. 7" H, 7.5" L, 3.5" D. Double Strap with 24.5" Drop. Thanks so much!

It's an authentic Dixon mini #4124 from around 1993. The creed number is unique and doesn't mean anything. You can't google those and expect to learn anything. Coach didn't start putting style numbers in the creed until 1994.

The creed says Italy but it's a B plant code.

I need to do more looking but I'm in one of my regular Chat Rooms for the next few hours so that will have to wait. Don't buy either one but don't report it yet, I'd like to find a good set of trustworthy photos first. I found a few slightly later B plant bags with other differences too.

Your first photo of the listing from a French seller with the B6B- prefix says made in Italy.

The B plant code seems to have disappeared from late 1995 (pending any new evidence) thru Feb or March 1996 as a USA Coach plant and maybe was temporarily transferred to Italy. Compare it to the pic below with the wonky N month code - same creed wording but NOT the same exact stamp. There are differences in the fonts especially of the Coach logo, and the Made In line is lower in the photo you posted.



This black one seems to use the same creed stamp but the Made In Italy line is faint or missing. But it has the wrong zipper pull and more importantly the wrong style number, 4922 is a Sonoma Sling, pic below..

I THINK the reddish-brown one from the French seller MIGHT be ok, but the black one may not, although it could have a correct magnetic snap - wish that photo was better. But I wouldn't buy either one. There are a lot of these weird Sonomas with creed and hardware problems and any time the Italy plant is involved, anything could have happened there that wouldn't have met with Coach's approval. The Italians have always made their own rules and ignored everyone else's. We're run into other possible "after-hours" or not quite right but close bags from that plant very recently.

It seems like a genuine Monterey Hobo 4027 from the Lightweight line (early 1990s, not 1980s) but the top zipper pull isn't original.

(BTW, the similar style in brown in another listing is probably fake and has the wrong font for the D plant, from our old friend who can't be bothered to find a QUALIFIED Coach authenticator, linda*s***stuff . Why doesn't that surprise me? Condolences to the unlucky buyer.)

Really wanted it to be as good as it looked, but I too wondered about that zipper pull, but then I'm suspicious of everything. .Hopefully the zipper on mine will work.
I will avoid Linda and her brown one (don't want a brown one, want that glorious large slouchy navy).
That brown one looks very close to the navy one. what's the difference? Just the creed?
