Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hi and greetings from Finland! I'm quite new to this Coach craze, but somehow I've got into my head that I'd like to have a vintage Coach bag before spring really starts. It's impossible to get any in Finland and not even in Europe so I turn to Etsy to try my luck... Thanks in advance if any of you Authenticators can help to decide if they are authentic, or at least give an educated guess, since not all the listings provids good informations / photos.

Welcome!

Only the two bags from magnoliavintageco show legible creed pictures and are the only two that can be positively authenticated as genuine.

The others have no red flags but can't be positively authenticated without creed pictures. (Assuming authenticity and that the seller correctly copied the serial number on the first one, it's not going to be vintage (officially) for 2 more years.)

The listings for retroandme and crazygoodbananas are authentic too. The first two need clear creed pictures in order to authenticate, but I don't see any problems.

I really wish it had zipper stops! There are so few details to prove these items are authentic since they don't have creeds. I'd like to see some consistency!

If a seller is unresponsive before making a sale, how responsive would she be if you had a problem after the fact?

Without a picture of the creed, it can't be authenticated and since the seller, temp0726 can't be bothered to reply, I'd find a different seller.

It's authentic.

This listing is a good example of why we need the creed to authenticate a bag. Her description has a mistyped (invalid) serial number. (Also, the seller describes a "Court" bag in the title but the bag is a Willis.

Thanks BeenBurned. I knew it was a Willis bag since I love this style and have been collecting different colors and hardware.
