I'm seeing J7B-4174 which would be a Flatiron Zip as Whateve said. Here's that bag's creed compared to one from a genuine Flatiron Flap with the same prefix. The details of the creeds and serials are identical so it looks genuine.
I don't know whether you realized that the listing had 2 other creed shots, both slightly better than the picture Hyacinth rotated and posted.

It's definitely 4174. I think these might be adequate for determining authenticity of this bag.

I think the seller just added these. The bag is authentic and it is a Flatiron zip, as we suspected.

Never assume.

I've seen at least 2 other possibly genuine Flatirons with striped linings. They must have had a lot of that stuff left over when they discontinued the Sonomas. But I've also seen Flatirons with that lining and serial number stampings that don't look right for the plant and month, but there seem to be a lot of variations in serial numbers from the B and C plants during that 1997-98 period anyway. It seems like almost every Flatiron has some oddball quirk that makes it a bit different from all the others. I've seen one that is probably fake with the striped lining but I'd still wouldn't feel comfortable reporting it.

It's Questionable but there just isn't enough evidence to call it anything else, although I'd be surprised if a fakes maker would bother to have a striped lining made for an off-the-wall line that was only in existance for a few months. I'm not even sure what color the hardware was supposed to be! It looks silver in the few catalog pics I have but there's no color mentioned in the descriptions. Frankly that line drives me nuts. :cray:
Thank you. The odd shape of the creed patch and the squished numbers had me wondering.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this is authentic? I'm thinking no.

Thanks!

Speaking of kinky stampings, here's one from a while back. Ignore the silver hangtag chain, the bag itself has brass hardware. Kind of looks like those K3H prefixes, doesn't it? Less squished together and with a different creed stamp but with the same font as K3H-

So far I'm not seeing any red flags, maybe BeenBurned can spot something. What makes you think it's not right?

Btw, your first pic is showing the back of the bag, not the front.
Thanks, Hyacinth. The number font doesn't look right to me.

These aren't my pics. I saw this for sale on a local site and want to make sure it's authentic.

Hi ladies. Can any coach experts help me authenticate this Coach Bleecker Riley carry-all? It looks authentic to me but the leather looks a bit damaged/wrinkled in the front? Is that possible to fix? Thanks for any help, ladies!

Front of Bag

Coach Inside Logo

Giving this a BUMP since I'm not familiar with recent styles.

Just guessing, but I don't think that wrinkling could be fixed. Did you buy it from Coach, or from a private seller? And if it was a private seller, was the wrinking mentioned or in the listing photos?
