Thank you and be safe!

It looks okay. It should have a 48 inch adjustable strap with dogleash clips. Probably about 1/2 inch wide.
:yahoo: Yesssss! Thank you - I've been pining for one! Thanks also for the strap info - you knew my next question.

ETA: Thanks also to everyone who ever authenticated a Winnie or got one authenticated here on tPF - I think I looked at all your posts!

Addendum: If a seller's listing is questioned here and is deemed fake, there's no legal basis for a lawsuit against the authenticator. Sellers are required by US trademark law to know items are authentic before listing. If that seller didn't verify authenticity and got caught, that's not the authenticator's fault. And it's certainly not libelous to say "so-and-so's listing is a fake" if that statement is accurate.

Got it. Thank God for that. I most certainly would like the knowledgeable here to authenticate something I am interested in. And it is obvious any 'opinion' can be considered trustworthy here after reading through this site. It's why I joined.

Hi all! I'm curious about others' opinions on this seller's charms. Personally, I'm not comfortable at all!

I think they are fake. The enameling is uneven. In some places, the silver of the word "Coach" is partially or completely covered up, and it looks chipped.
Duh! I should have read the descriptions more carefully. Each of the ebay listings states the following "disclaimer:"
"This is NOT of any major brands."

So, yes....we were correct!

NOW SHE'S TRYING TO SNEAK THEM THROUGH ON COMPLETED BRACELETS WITHOUT MENTIONING COACH IN THE LISTING.
There's only this one so far but I'm sure the others Ebay pulled will show up soon enough.

There are a ton of fake Disney items too - since when can someone sell a genuine Disney charm for 99 cents and still make a profit? The cheapest charm of ANY kind on the Disney Store site not even including the Pandora styles is around $45.

I was sure the Pandora and Disney items were fake but since I don't know those brands enough to report, I didn't report them. I admit to feeling somewhat guilty because I know buyers will be ripped off but I have to accept that we can't save the world.

I also notice that ekc80015 is also using Pandora as the brand in the item specifics so I'm guessing that the charms have "Pandora" markings on them. He's careful not to show those Pandora markings.

I will continue to check and report those with charms I know are fake, those with authenticity disclaimers and suggest that buyers avoid both
eBay seller: ekc80015
and
Bonanza seller: dh11758

ETA: This is one of the suppliers of Disney charms:

I looked for a current list of VeRO members at Ebay to report the Disney items but couldn't find one. The link I have must be at least 6 or 8 years old and there's nothing that looks like it could be for a Disney rep. All I could do was send an email to [email protected]

I doubt if we'll see any results from that, they must get hundreds of reports a day.

BTW, are all genuine Pandora and Pandora-authorized charms and beads sterling silver, or do they use cheaper metals too?

Here's the VeRO list but members aren't required to have ebay accounts stating that status and in fact, don't even need to use ebay. ANY rights owner can apply for VeRO or if they don't apply, they can submit a DMCA complaint.

In answer to your question about metals used by Pandora, for charms, they use sterling silver and 14k gold. Some charms have gemstones and/or enameling. There are also 2-tone metals and Pandora rose with is a rosegold colored metal. The prices of "Pandora rose" indicate that it's not gold.

ETA: I don't see either Disney or Pandora on the ebay list of Vero reps but I know both are very protective of their brands.

Thanks, BB. I wish there was an easy way to contact them.
