Yep, the more you look, the more mistakes and shortcuts you find. That POS was NOT made by Coach. No way, no how. I hope she hasn't bought anything else from that friend.
Did you see my previous posts? If there's a "friend," I think the friend sold her a fake Longchamp too. But I'm wondering whether this is another case of someone testing to see if they could fool the experts.

Clearly, they can't.

If that's the case then may their little game turn around and bite them right in the arse. We'll be watching for and reporting their pieces of cwap. And I have a special prayer that I send to my patron saint, just for cocky scammers who like to play games.

Thinking about bidding on this little red Winnie, but I'm not sure if the serial prefix is valid. Was "N" ever used on legitimate bags for the month code on this style?

Item: Coach vintage leather cross body bag red
Seller: flawforless
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/142231969076
That bag is fake.

There are some legitimate Coach "mistakes" where N was in fact used on Italian-made bags but this isn't one of them!

ETA: flawforless looks like she was already caught for the fake. It was sold once.

Hi
Bag item: Coach Kelsey Medium

Can someone help me Authenticate this bah. A friend of mine wanted to resell this bag to me. She said it is authentic. She doesn't have an ebay or anything.

I would really appreciate it if you can help me out.View attachment 3566433 View attachment 3566434 View attachment 3566436 View attachment 3566437 View attachment 3566438 View attachment 3566439

Hmm. I'm confused by this bag and would like to hear other opinions.

While I don't see obvious "issues" based solely on the pictures you've shown, I don't find evidence that style 36675 was made in a signature pattern.

Where did your friend purchase the bag? Are the pictures shown pictures that YOU took of the actual bag?

Again, @whateve and @Hyacinth , do you have opinions on this one? I realize the newer bags aren't necessarily your specialty but this is an aberration that you may feel comfortable commenting on.
Sorry I'm late to the discussion, but did you notice there is no month code?

As a caveat, if these bags (both the Longchamp and the Coach) are listed, they certainly will be caught, reported and removed as counterfeit and the seller who lists them risks their ebay account.

Hi guys,

Thank you so much for your help in authenticating this Coach Kelsey Bag.

Yes they are of the same friend. It's a bit of a long story though. My friend's supplier keeps on insisting that her bag is authentic and i do have doubts about the bag and including the price as well. She doesn't want to disclose to me the name of her supplier as well she just told me their company is an export/import business. And told me that they bought the bags from the store itself.

Oh well, luckily i didn't bought the bag and i didn't sell it either.

Thank you so much for the help. Sorry for the late reply as i forgot about this one..

Hi there,

The photos are based on the photos my friend has sent me. So i do not have the actual bag as i didn't buy it from her. I think she gave me two photos of different bags too.

@Schnooky16 -- Are your bags coming from the same friend?

I noticed that you bought a "Longchamp" from "a friend" and it too was deemed as fake.
Your post: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate-this-longchamp.890060/page-271#post-30927722
Authentication deemed it fake: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate-this-longchamp.890060/page-271#post-30927762
^^^ That post is followed by you asking why it's fake and another authenticator adding comments.

Something is off here and I don't think we're getting all the information. But it has me questioning whether we (here on Coach) give out too much information about why items are fake.

Again, @Schnooky16 , where is your friend getting these bags?

Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply again i just got all the replies today. My friend doesn't want to disclose to me any information about her supplier though so i don't have any clue where did they get those bags. Sorry about that. She doesn't want to disclosed to me in fear of me buying straight from her supplier.
