Hi there, i'm new here ^^
Can you please authenticate this bag? Thank you so much
Item: Coach Rogue

Comments: I just bought it and thought it's authentic, but after saw the taobao rogue, I'm not so sure anymore.

And this one also :

I don't recommend the first seller ubercalgal or her listings. Most of her listings use all stolen pictures and show none of the actual bags the buyers are bidding on so there's no way to authenticate her listings. Even in the listing you asked about, the first picture is a stolen stock photo and though the other images are someone's pictures of a bag, there's no way to know whether the pictures are the seller's own or if she also stole them from the internet. And even if they are her own pictures of the actual bag, the pictures shown aren't adequate for authentication purposes. (And although there are some members who will tell you that styles are "too new" to be faked, that's inaccurate and misleading. NO BAG is too new for the fakers to copy if they think they can make money.)

The second listing from terrmenifre_0 show pictures of an authentic bag.

Hi everyone, here's my question: is there a way to report not a fake, but seriously altered bag? I checked, and of course there's no such subcategory under listing violations. I'm pretty sure this Prairie bag is authentic, but it's got a short strap as well as a long one, and if you look closely, you'll see the small holes, so probably it was made out of a long strap or a belt (has the bag's shoulder strap been shortened?). No pictures show the top of the bag, and I'm not even sure the short strap was attached properly and the lucky winner won't be in for a big surprise. Unless, of course, there was some limited edition Prairie bag that had this feature... but considering the seller has a history of selling fake designer items and handling the disputes poorly, I'm leaning towards the alteration version. BTW, I was not going to buy this purse - just wanted to see what you all think about this.

This bag was talked about yesterday, starting at the top of page 1285: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate-this-coach.889527/page-1285

Unfortunately, I don't think ebay has a category for reporting altered items, but sellers are supposed to describe it in their listing. Buyers have to be careful. Hopefully the seller won't get away with this. It looks like she sold a fake Gucci and her response to the buyer's feedback was to 'Ask before buying "it's common sense"'

Oh, ok, I didn't see the discussion, so thanks for the reference, Whateve! I was mostly worried not as much about the fact the bag has been altered, but HOW the short strap was attached - and, considering the holes, I have a bad feeling about it... And yes, that Gucci wallet - this is what I meant by saying she didn't handle the dispute well.

Ebay used to have "misleading" as one of the listing violations but in their continuing attempts to eliminate any transparency, they removed that report reason. So as long as the bag is authentic (which it is), we don't have a valid reason to report skskinner1960's listing however with a 97% feedback score already, she can't afford too many more negs or SNAD disputes without the risk of losing her right to sell on ebay.

I wonder if it's possible that she may not be aware of the alteration. While it's the most shoddy job I've seen, it's something she may not even have considered disclosing if she didn't do the work and doesn't know what a "real" Prairie bag looks like. Although I don't mind being told about an error or omission in my listings, I don't know how she might react to a heads up about this bag.

Would you please check this beauty? Stopped me dead in my tracks in the store, lol! Thank you [emoji846]
