I believe ebay only allows 30 days from receipt for filing a dispute. PayPal allows 180 days but if the seller is honorable and directed to this discussion, she might do the right thing and just issue a full refund. if she's smart, she won't waste her money paying (also) for return shipping because she can't resell a counterfeit item anywhere.

The only reason why the seller might want the fake back is if she can return it to whoever sold it to her.

If the seller is uncooperative , you can open a PayPal dispute.
Thanks Hyacinth, Whateve and BeenBurned very much for all the information and help! As suggested, we're going through eBay first. BeenBurned is correct that this is outside the eBay window, but the system did allow for an email for return to the seller. Hopefully, we'll be able to resolve that way, but if not will definitely check into PayPal.

Again, many thanks! Much appreciated!

Any thoughts on this listing? My Willis bag is falling apart and I'm desperate to find a replacement -- there's no other purse that's quite as perfect. Not sure how the newer model will compare in terms of quality, but if it's authentic, I'll give it a go!

While I'm at it, I'd also like to ask the forum's expert thoughts on these two as well! They're both a lot more affordable.

All appear authentic. I believe that the newer version uses lighter weight leather. I saw some around the time this was made at the outlet that looked horrible but I've heard of others who have gotten some that were fine.

We have a rehab club: http://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/
You might be able to fix up your old Willis, and either of these older models can be rehabbed to look nearly new.

Thank you, whateve! I've refurbed my purse a couple of times now, but I'm afraid the leather has split on one of the front corners and I'm not sure how to fix that. I'll look in that thread to see if someone has solutions!

It's the earliest serial number on a bag from Hungary that I've found, but it seems genuine. The serial font and creed match another bag from Hungary from April 1996.

Is this mini skinny authentic? Asking because I've never seen one of the gift-boxed ones in this color, and I couldn't find anything on Google.

Item: Teal Mini Skinny
Listing number: 282244527716 (eBay)
Seller: goodfinds4u16
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/282244527716
Comments: none

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
There aren't enough pictures to tell if it is authentic. I don't have any information about whether they made this color in a boxed set.

The "B " at the end of the style number usually means an item that includes a gift box. You see it most often on items Coach makes for their large retail partners like Dillard's - I've bought several items like keychains from them with that same B code that came with Coach gift boxes. While that doesn't prove it's genuine, it's something that counterfeiters usually wouldn't know or care about.

Of course without being able to see any photos of a tag or label showing the style number and description we don't know if that's a picture of the actual item being sold. The photo looks like something from a store website like Dillard's or Macy's. We're not seeing the actual mini, just a stock photo. And stock photos can never authenticate ANYTHING.

I never would recommend buying from a seller who steals pictures. As Hyacinth mentioned, goodfinds4u16 used picutres that aren't her own. (the picture is stolen from various department stores' websites, probably found on Google)

Here's one website for Belks that shows the same picture but in a different color.

Good catch on the photo. I tried to check Macy's and Dillard's cached photos but came up blank. Even Ebay wasn't any help unless I just didn't go back far enough.

But I did find the same color mini listed by a Korean seller who states "We will not be beaten on price" and who has it listed for $299.99.
