Thought this one looked cute until I saw the creed, it ends in 9950 which should be a Janice's Legacy. Can I get a confirmation on if fake? Also, is there a real version of this little boxy bag, and if so, what is it called? Thanks in advance

There's more wrong with that than just the fake serial number.

The plant code is fake since the L code was not used for any USA plants in 1998 OR 1999. H9L- is always fake.

The "scars, scratches..." creed statement was NEVER used after 1996.

And did you look at the leather? The entire top half of that panel that the turnlock tongue is attached to is absolutely COVERED with overstretched "elephant-skin" leather, which is a major sign of a cheap fake when the stretch marks don't have any reason for being there..

I've never seen a style like that from Coach either.

Hi! I just bought this bag from the Goodwill, and I was wondering if it was legit.

Coach Carly
measures approximate 12w x 9h x 4d (quick measurements, might be off a little bit)

Sorry for the darkness of my pics; it's a dark and rainy day here.

I admit I didn't look at the other details too closely :/ Thanks for being so thorough, I appreciate it!

It looks like it is trying to copy Emmie flap #9018. The real one is very cute and came in some fun colors.9018_Emmie Flap Bag-Summer1997.jpg

Ok this one is the same little boxy shape. Creed is set low and doesn't show a serial number... but has an outlet bullet stamp. Thoughts?

Even though it has an outlet stamp, I have misgivings. Like you said, the creed is stamped too low. These should have a number and it looks like there isn't room for a number. Ask the seller if there is one and get a picture. The tabs on the sides seem a little too low.

I messaged the seller, didn't get a pic of the serial number but they said it's there and it reads M6D-9018.
