I was lurking in a thread where there was constant reference to "my HG bag" as in "I've found it" or "I'm looking for it". I didn't get it until suddenly The Monty Python theme came to mind!

Is PLMK please let me know?

When would you use SWIM?
Use SWIM..as in...That person that was
a)snuggling with your husband
b) the person caught on cctv cameras robbing a bank
c) commiting any faux pas , embarrassing action, crime or anything that wasn't YOU, even if it was...
Right now I'm thinking of that SHAGGY song.."It wasn't me.."
As in"...do you mean you thought you saw me going into the Hotel w/ your DH??? HAHAHA! that was SWIM!! or maybe it was the Countess of Rutabaga..? But it certainly WASN't MOI!
And IMO, and AFAIK, she is a PITA & IMHO a POS..so PLMK if you see that PITA around my DH again & I will KHFA to the curb... ..HAHAHA!! :woot::panic:

I found out about SWIM when I was looking for the safe dosage for a pill and stumbled onto a site for people who were abusing drugs, but since that is illegal, they used the SWIM acronym to pretend it was someone else.

It's like crack, I tell you! I just happened to wander through Etsy and found a green station bag and a brown suede hippie flap! ARGH!

But thanks for the info. :D
You're welcome! We're all addicts here! :roflmfao:

I agree. There is nothing wrong with pricing an item at whatever a seller wants.
I dont sell on Ebay but a friend of mine does and she is a fairly new seller and is having trouble with a Coach and a VB that wont sell after listing several times. I thought the Coach was listed a little high but didnt tell her that but asked how she arrived at the price. She said Ebay gave her "suggested" prices!

I KNOW I said no more this month, but I don't know if I can pass these up!

Item: Green Station Bag
Seller: Vintageair

Item: Suede Flap Bag
Seller: Vintageair
Link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/208188688/valentines-sale-vintage-coach-dark-brown?ref=hp_mod_rf

And, yes, I am fully aware that I have a blue flap bag on the way from this same seller. :graucho:

ETA: Shoot, I just realized I don't think they have creed photos. Will request.

Please authenticate my HG (lol) bag. Thank you!

authentic. You got a good price too!

The retail price has nothing to do with the desirability of an item. Certain colors are more popular and will sell higher. Ebay's suggested price probably is an average price for something generic like "Coach hobo" and doesn't take into account whether an item was made for FP, the rarity, or the condition of the item. The best thing to do is look for ended listings similar to yours. Even then, it is no guarantee. I've seen buyers get into a bidding war for something while the identical item sits unsold at a lower price. It is also helpful to put the right things in your title so buyers can find your listing.

LOL! Thanks for the SWIMming lesson!

The creed picture shown in the listing can't be from that bag. You need to ask the seller if she has a picture of the creed. The two tone variety is fairly rare. If authentic, it is a Madison Carlyle. The seller put the correct style number in the title.

It is the same! That is the creed from the briefcase she sold. You can tell it is stamped right on the leather. The creed for the bag in the listing will be a leather patch sewn onto the lining. If she is that dense, she is going to have trouble selling it.

hello! please help me authenticate my first new to me coach.

not sure of the name (possibly pebbled chelsea?)
dark navy blue leather body, turquoise lining
