I don't know why but I was not able to find this thread for weeks. Anyway, picked this up today, the creed looks suspect but everything else checked out to me.

Seller ID: marieparis

The style that fake is trying to copy is 11179. This is an authentic version:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Denim...857878?hash=item4d4bc7a8d6:g:Y3QAAOSwzgRW01c-

Thanks again for your help, Whateve and BeenBurned! I was refunded immediately when I notified the seller..- silly, silly me for buying before authenticating first!.. Now I am debating the Original denim tote or this blue Ergo tote:

Could you please authenticate, wouldn't like to make the same mistake twice ;-)

Hello! I'm new here, and I wanted to confirm this bag was authentic before I put it up for sale. <3 The lining is strange it's like a heavy duty woven nylon.
I've seen this only a couple times online described as a weekender bag or a diaper bag. It measures 17.5"w x 12" h x 6.5" d with a 14" drop length.
If it *is* authentic I'd love to find out the style name.

Thank you so much in advance!

It's called a Hamptons Leather Multi-function Tote and was made in 2002. I have to stress that since you don't show or say anything about a changing pad and the bag originally came with one from Coach, you need to state clearly in your listing that there is NO changing pad included.

I don't want to buy this, I am curious why it's so 'rare' if it is in fact authentic

Item: VINTAGE COACH SMALL BLACK LEATHER CROSSBODY SHOULDER BAG PURSE EXTREMELY RARE!
Listing number: 151713627000
Seller: gifts4every1
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-COA...REMELY-RARE-/151713627000?hash=item2352d63b78
Comments:

"One of a kind" my arse.

No, it's NOT "rare", any more so than any 20-year-plus bag. And maybe if you ask the SELLER why she thinks it's "rare" she can pull some nonsense out somewhere dark and secret and explain. If potential buyers or even lookers started calling them on their silly comments maybe a few of them would either STFU, or even better, take the time to actually do some real research. This one can't even be bothered to give measurements, and it's not as if the blasted bag's shape is so hard to measure. MAYBE it's a Swagger but since the seller describes it as "small" and a Swagger is 12 inches across, who the heck knows? I don't. Maybe it's the smaller 9x7 Blazer bag. But how can someone claim something is rare unless they actually know what it is?

Don't ever expect every, or even most, sellers, to know what they're talking about. If I had a dollar for every piece of BS a Coach seller has spouted over the last 10 or 12 years I'd be living on a clifftop villa in Monaco with 200 feet of private beachfront.

When someone makes unsupported claims, call them out on it (politely, of course), as long as you dont mind ending up on their Blocked Bidder List. I just did, but I doubt very much if I'll get an answer to my questions.

RANT OVER.
Blast, I've got to stop watching political coverage on the news, it's making me sound as nasty and unhinged as the so-called "candidate".

Fake or not? I was pretty sure it was but after looking at a few other ones, now I'm not so sure. This is the Maggie bucket.
It's authentic.

One of the big issues with this bag is the wiring wearing through the piping on the corners of the bag. Just an FYI.
