Hello Coach Ladies.....In reference to the recent discussion re: white/off white Stewardess , my memory was jiggled so I looked in my ancient rehab box and there I found a bag(bought years ago)olwhstecr.jpg olwhstehan.jpg that I THINK might be yet another exception to the Coach no-rule-Rule!
As I am certainly not an expert I wanted to run this one by you for opinions. I took it to be a pre-serial # Made in NYC Oldie. Stamped solid brass & still has original hang tang with square'ball' chain. If you think it is a fake then I will ditch it..if authentic, then I may get the energy to tackle it for rehab. thanks as always for your expert advice!

Now there's a unique and rare color for a #9525. Thank you for posting it. You see, you can learn something new every day. I've a couple of pre-serial/registration number Stewardess bags and the creed stamp you show in the photo is a spot-on match. You certainly should get around to rehabbing it. It's a gem.

Whoa.. is this the real deal?
Item: Bonnie Cashin bag
Pre Creed

By real, do you mean authentic? The bag in the listing is indeed an early Cashin-Carry for COACH Over-Arm with outside purse that is missing the glued-on white fabric label (with gold lettering). The three color black-red-olive striped fabric was used for I believe only one year and could be found on several styles of bags and clutches. This version of the over-arm, with it's distinctive pouch-shaped outside pocket with the squared-off kisslock frame, was superceded by other configurations. At one point there were (at least) three sizes of over-arm that I know of: long, wide, and small, as well as later versions where the kisslock pocket was replaced with a zippered Thompson-style shield-shaped pocket. The over-arms were one of BC's first original designs for COACH and appear in 1963 adverts, the year COACH introduced a women's line.

Interestingly, this style hints at the strange working arrangement BC must have had with the Cahns since she also had the style (or one very similar to it) made under both the Bonnie Cashin for Meyers and The Cashin-Carry A Bonnie Cashin Design labels, some even in suede. Those though typically had darker tartan plaid linings, but then so did some of the ones she did for Coach (eg. Saddle Wide Over-Arm: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BONNIE-CASH...388156?hash=item51c475893c:g:QpYAAOSwAHZUMJN6)

Coincidentally, there's currently another listing for this particular style of bag- a black one that does have it's fabric label (absurdly priced) and also a listing for a clutch that has the same three-color striped lining.

Black Over-Arm: http://www.ebay.com/itm/172313249016?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2648

Black Clutch: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BONNIE-CASH...997889?hash=item33901aa701:g:8kwAAOSwq7JUFgkc

Personally, I prefer the more iconic Madras-striped fabric that has more colors that BC designed for COACH later on (and also used in some "for Sills" leather jackets). But to each their own.

I trust that you'll find this information elucidating.

Good evening folks. I know that there are insufficient photos for authenticating this what appears to be a #4413 Madison Gracie, but was wondering if anyone had ever before seen a Gracie or Biltmore that had this variety of what looks to be removable shoulder strap?

Item: VINTAGE COACH NAVY BLUE SMALL HANDBAG/PURSE
Listing number: 152223983072
Seller: caju6434 (2966)
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/152223983072?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2648

Comments: Also, the proportions don't appear to be quite right, but that can be due to camera angle. But the strap tabs and hardware on the sides of the bag look just like the ones you'd find with the non-removable straps on styles such as the Carlyle, Spence, Chapin, Regis .... Without interior and creed photos, I suspect that all one can do is guess and suspect that this may just be another fake Madison. Perhaps something to add to your records though.

Keychains are highly and often very accurately faked. In the future we ask you to post no more than 2 fobs per photo and to post the BACK of each keychain as well as the front, and try to get a clear readable photo of the price tag showing the style number AND also the small metal hangtag on each keyring. Even having what looks like original tags doesn't prove much since a tag or hangtag can be switched from a genuine to a fake keyfob in less than 10 sesconds, and the tags can be counterfeited even more easily than the fobs. Often we have to count the links in the chain on the multi-charm ones. If you own them, take photos of both sides. If you're considering buying them, ask for more photos.

These are the ones I'm pretty sure are genuine, although more opinions would be appreciated. I'm using the placement from the first photo:

Top left, Rainy Day
Bottom right, Hearts & Stars
Probably the Lock and Key one, center left. But I'd really like to see a clear photo of the little hangtag on the keyring. In the pictures it looks more like white enamel than all silver metal.

The dark pink Valet one might need a photo of the back.
The ones with pave stones usually need to have the stones actually counted, and I don't know if I have clear enough photos of the genuine version to do an accurate comparison. It's going to take some time to find what I have.
I don't have any pics of the leather one, and again we'd probably need to see the back.

There don't seem to be any OBVIOUS problems with them that I can see but like I said, keychains are very well faked. If we need more photos of any specific areas, we'll ask.

ETA - the 5-disk "COACH" pave keyfob isn't in my files so I don't have anything to compare this one to. Maybe someone else has a photo. That doesn't mean it's fake, just that I can't tell if it's genuine.

The Pave Script Heart with pink crystals seems ok.

WHOOPS - just saw the post by BeenBurned - thanks, BB!
Sorry I'm late in returning to this discussion.

In case you're interested, here are some of the style numbers I was able to come up with:
92885 - Signature lock and key KF
92072 - Rainy day KF
69939 - Pave disc KF
92631 - Script pave heart KF

For the others, I wasn't able to come up with the style numbers.
