It looks a lot like the Julia Legacy Stripe Swingpacks made for the Factory stores around 4 or 5 years ago. No number or photo in my files though. And I've never seen one and can't find any with horizontal stripes, so please wait for more opinions.

ETA - Never mind, BB has already covered it.

Thank you for looking, all the same. I have seen the Julia version floating around and now I know the name!

image.jpg Hi new here. So maybe bit lost. Hope I'm at the right place. I'm trying to see if the Creed on the coach bag I just brought looks legit. Its a Coach Willis crossbody in mahogany brown. I'm thinking it's made in 1995 in USA.
The creed has "leatherwear" printed under the COACH and the A on the coach is puffy and obliterates the top triangle of A. The # A5B-9927 has imprints from what looks to be marks from above and below. Bottom of the creed has "MADE IN THE UNITED STATES" in all caps. Haven't seen those differences in other creeds for 9927 and my coach bag from 1997 has its creed nearly worn off and this looks really sharp, kind of too sharp for its age? Thanks for all your help.

That creed is perfect for 1995 and the B factory. You can't compare creeds from different factories and expect them to be the same. Most of the older creeds tend to be very crisp like this. The overstamping marks above and below the numbers is normal since they were on a roller. The "made in" line along the bottom was changed to the newer format with that information in the body of the creed between 1994 and 1996, but not all plants changed to the new format at the same time.

Hello, I'm relatively new to TPF, but need some help authenticating this black pebbled leather Coach Swagger 27. I saw it online at a real steal (SGD$280, RRP SGD$850 in stores) but it seems too good to be true. Can anyone help me check out these pics? They're not great quality (i stole them from the seller off a marketplace app).

Are the pictures you've shown the actual bag or are you showing pictures of a similar one? If that's the actual bag, it looks okay but the swaggers are incredibly well faked. I've made a few posts with pictures and comparisons as well as warnings about those who want to purchase the style.

But again, the pictures in your post appear to show an authentic bag.

Thanks for your input! Yes, this is the actual piece. She has a receipt from the LA store she purchased it from. Could you point me to the post(s) in which you've made comparisons? I'll be inspecting the bag in person before I make payment so I ought not to get scammed *fingers crossed*

Good morning everyone, could someone please confirm this scarf bag is fake? I know the auction is almost over, but I could at least report it afterwards. I've seen the same creed number on a completely different purse a while ago and am positive it's not authentic.

Many thanks!

I have NO idea what purse you think you saw that exact serial number on, but the bag in the listing is completely genuine. I REALLY hope you haven't reported it?

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe the OTHER bag you saw was a fake - assuming the serial numbers were exactly the same, of course? Or maybe the serial number was actually different?

Relying strictly on the memory of a number seen maybe once that you don't have in front of you is NOT a valid reason for reporting a seller. Human memory is flawed and fallible, DON'T depend on it

ETA - I just checked Completed listings at Ebay - not only are there 3 identical GENUINE Scarf Print bags with the same style number, but there are two obvious fakes with the identical number too. One is a fake Poppy Demi with a black-on-black Signature pattern that Coach NEVER made and that has a really bad Poppy applique, and the other is another obvious fake, a Tattersall bag with a crooked pattern that's not the same as Coach's genuine Tattersall, an off-center badly sewn emblem on the pocket (a style that Coach never made) and a cheap acetate lining with the creed patch in the wrong place, and really bad stitching all over the bag especially on the "leather" trim.

Always ask here before reporting, and always check the Completed listings at Ebay as well as the current ones.

The bag is authentic. This is Coach's stock pic of 8F34.

In fact, 8F34 is a style number that is often seen on fakes.

At the bottom of this post, I commented on a fake 8F34 and posted a picture of what it should look like:

Here's an example OF A FAKE:

BeenBurned also posted a notice about that sometimes-fake style number in the Answers To Authenticity Questions thread last September, post 1365:

Searching all the Coach forums here at tPF brought up links to all the posts we've just mentioned.

Good morning ladies: asking for help as I cannot find specific answers to this question on TPF. With regard to the Curtis Bag Style 9975, what colors were offered on this particular bag? I have only seen black and the color in the attached pic for your reference. Is it listed in the 1996 Catalog? Thank you in advance for your help. My apologies in advance if posted in wrong place. Other sections state no questions were allowed, which lead me back here.
