Might I sneak in this Baxter while I'm on a roll? Thank you in advance! BTW, how do I tell which side is the front - is the creed flap always toward the body when carried?

Item: Baxter
Seller: Savers (in my possession)
Dimensions: 13 1/2 x 7 ½ x 5 ½, strap drop 18 ½
Comments: straps were knotted so they’re kinked, forgot to take a pic of the feet but they're therefront.jpg back.jpg creed.jpg open.jpg !

It's authentic. The creed is almost always stamped on the back wall or pocket of the bag so the front is usually the part opposite the creed, but you can carry it either way since both sides are identical.

Would you please authenticate and ID this wallet? Another from yesterday’s haul. Thank you!

Hello!
Is there a list of company code numbers that would help for comparing what the creed stamp says with the serial number?
Is it true that there are ZERO bags with the signature "c" pattern both inside and out?
Thank you!

Welcome to the forum!

In answer to your first question, no there isn't. Your best approach as a seller is to have your bags authenticated here or elsewhere before listing them.

For general information, you might want to bookmark these Coach guides:

I don't know the answer to your second question.

As for the second part of your question - like everything else, it depends on the bag style, and usually on just HOW MUCH of the outside pattern consists of Cs. There are no cut-and-dried Rules, but MOST OF THE TIME when the majority of the pattern or patches are Cs or Logos, the bag shouldn't have a C or Logo lining.

That only holds for bags, btw. Genuine wallets can sometimes have Sig Cs on the outside with logo lining.

Except for a tiny number that I can count on the fingers of one hand, DON'T depend on "rules" to tell you if something's genuine, doing that will bite you in the backside. Every bag has to be looked at individually.

That style is widely faked, and that's one of the fakes.

The hardware is wrong, and the serial number font is wrong for any bag with that plant, month and year combination (see the genuine one here)1995_B-plant_H5B-9590-cr.jpg

Also the style isn't even shown until the Fall1996 catalog where it's listed as "NEW".

Genuine Chelsea Optic Sig Checkbook Wallet, probably style 40624. The Coach logo could have been on the missing? checkbook cover. Or maybe it wasn't thought necessary since it already had Cs all over it.40624_choc-d1.jpg
