BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

For any Coach, the pictures aren't adequate for authenticating. But for a style as well-faked as this, there would need to be a ton of VERY clear and close pictures of the bag and it's details.

As is posted on another thread, the Swagger style is highly faked and very closely faked. ALthough this seller isn't one of those mentioned as being part of a suspected ring of sellers, shopheroic doesn't appear to sell a lot of Coach and I'm not sure she'd recognize a close fake. (This is not meant to disparage the seller but point out how close the fakes are.)

See post #1 for the required pictures for authentication requests and if the seller is willing to comply and supply very clear pictures, I will look again.

Comments: I was looking for a bag on eBay and while doing so I came across this listing that I believe to be a counterfeit bag. I reported it a few days ago and it's still listed so maybe I am wrong, but I thought NT-4115 was a pretty well-known counterfeit serial registration number as well as it being just 6 digits and it was my understanding 6-digit numbers were counterfeit.

Yes, it's fake. Any item with a prefix of "NT" is fake. It isn't true that all 6 digit numbers are counterfeit - there are a few exceptions.

It often helps to post the link and seller's name in our "Hall of Shame" to get others to report it as well.

There are a tiny handful of real 6-digit serial numbers but they're all on items made and stamped for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and a few oddball briefcases

The Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List parts 1 and 2 posted at Ebay's Reviews and Guides section Lists that number as "Always Fake". Also, did you happen to notice that the "joined" C pairs in the fabric are SIDEWAYS? And the creed says the bag is made of cowhide.

The six Salearea Guides at Ebay also discuss valid serial numbers. Save and refer to the links for both sets of Guides.

Hi, I just bought a couple "Coach" things at a flee market today and was so excited, but doing some research, now I'm not so sure. I can't find a key fob like the one I got anywhere; the bucket has black and white stripes and all the charms are blank on the back. I have very little experience with Coach so hopefully some of you can help. I attached a picture.

I got this Poppy Coach bracelet with the key fob. It wouldn't let me put the picture on the last post. It came with a box, bag, and fold out booklet thing, but I don't know that that means much. It says Coach, has the Coach logo, and says "China" inside. China has a "G" under it.

It is fake, sorry. There was a fob with a bucket that is sort of similar.

ETA: this is what the real one looks like, #92097.
