Item: Vintage coach leather bag
Listing number: 152088247724
Seller: mariamariah113

Comments: i believe its in the 1994-2003 range...she did post additional pics when i asked about the color diff in a couple pics.....first time buying a coach online...really want an all leather vintage bag for my collection
The bag is authentic from 1996.

ETA: Although the bag you've asked about is authentic, mariamariah113 had this very obvious fake:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-handbag-/152086563304?hash=item236910c9e8%3Ag%3AWPoAAOSwIjNXI-2L&nma=true&si=HYccTfWv5OQJb%252BZqMZgbBqlf9VE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

And she sold this very bad fake:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-backp...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

And another completed listing for a fake:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-tote-...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

And another sold fake:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-handb...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I don't recommend mariamariah113

I just bought this Coach bag. Once I got it home, I became unsure if it is authentic.

I think it is called Mini Soho Bucket

I never know if I get these photos correct, so please let me know if they are not readable.

Thank you in advance!

Genuine, but I don't know the exact name

It's genuine, and looks like a Bucket Bag style 4075 from the Lightweight line, made in the early 1990s
Sadly i did not win this bag..... i am considering this bag now....but the creed patch concearns me a little, mostly because of the marks above and below the numbers....

It's authentic. In this case, the marks above and below the numbers are correct. Those are what we call overstamping marks. The numbers were on a roller so sometimes if it was stamped with enough force, the bottom on the number above or the top of the number below on the roller appears. You can tell they are real because they are the correct shape of the number. There are some counterfeiters who use fake overstamping marks but they are usually obvious.

Than you for the reply...you ladies have so much knowledge here....hopefully I can learn a thing or 2 ...lol:smile1::smile1:

i was going to bid on this....http://www.ebay.com/itm/VTG-COACH-Tan-Leather-Bucket-Bag-Shoulder-Bag-Purse-/331850711918?
but i really think its fake. I did ask for a new pic of the creed and no reply yet. I think the style num is 4156 or 4166 but a google search is showing a diff style purse. Has anyone had dealing with a seller called "erkwood"???? the picture is a bucket style bag.
You're right, it is fake. I'm seeing a P factory code, which was never used for the US. The style number 4156 goes to a belted pouch.

Should I let the seller know??

NO. NEVER contact the seller, you could be reported to Ebay for several violations, and you'll often be told to "Get a life!" or "Mind your own ****** business". Let us report it, and if any of us actually knows the seller we'll sometimes contact them directly if we think they'll listen.
