No red flags from the photos...Bear in mind that I'm not one of the regular expert authenticators though.

Not an expert authenticator BUT I'm uncomfortable with this bag...just vibes which may be wrong but my thoughts were-
1. the set up for the photos is very professional and generally seen where who is selling has many bags not a person who is selling their first and only item.
2. the authenticity card pictured is not of a 2013 bag and the story regarding the bag is off.
3. make sure that they do send a photo of sticker
4. to check they have the actual bag- ask them to take a photo of the bag front on with both authenticity card ( number side up) and a piece of paper with their name and date next to the bag.
Once you have 3 & 4 repost with link.
Just my personal thoughts but hope it helps.

I wonder whether this chanel bag is authentic or not. It seems very authentic to me, but the serial number is very different from my other chanel bags. It has only 6 digits. I've heard that bags with a 6 digit serial number is from 1984 - 1986. But I thought those should start with 0. My bag has a number that starts with 4.
If anybody could help me I would be really gratefull. Thank you in advance!

Without going into too much detail in a public forum (don't want give the counterfeiters any advantage) I can tell you that a six digit serial number is not necessarily incorrect on the earliest "0" series vintage bags.
Is the bag in your possession or are you looking to purchase it? The regular authenticators typically only provide an opinion for a live auction or online sale item so unless this bag falls into one of these categories (see post #s 1 and 2 at the beginning of this thread for proper posting format and required pictures) you may want to consider going to a paid authentication service. The associated fees are small and its always best (I believe) to get a vintage expert to look at the older bags as the details have changed over the years.
