Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and Chanel, could you please authenticate this one?
and maybe if it's authentic could you tell me the value and the name of this bag?

Who took the pictures: seller
History of the bag: circa 1980
Comments:It has a cc logo in front, goldtone, a cc charm inside at the zipper and a Chanel tag on the outside. One compartment on the back outside, zippered compartment on one side on the inside, another compartment on the other side on the inside. Stamped Chanel on the one side, and made in Italy on the other side. It is a small bag, 8 inch at the bottom and 6,5 inches at the top, by 6 inches, drop handle (16 inches lenght). Leather lined, the smaller compartments are lined in a silky fabric.

I am hoping to find out if my bag is real. My father gave it to me in the 1980's as a gift. I am HORRIBLE about keeping things so I have no idea if it came with a serial number card or slip. It was so long ago I cannot remember. It has sat in my closet since then.
I cannot find a serial number inside the bag? is there supposed to be one?

Could an expert please authenticate this bag for me. I found it on ebay but the seller and I agreed to a price through paypal. I paid a lot of money for it and just want to make sure its authentic.

Comments: seller states bag was purchased in 2001 at saks. Only think that throws me off is the chanel stamp on the inside flap, not seeing the registered mark but a cc.

Hi - the pictures provided show two different bags. One appears to be authentic, the other not. I would stay clear of this seller.

The regular authenticators are not about and I honestly don't know much about belts. there was a post at #5885 but don't know if for your belt . It is probably best that you consider using a third party authentication service such as Etinceler. They will do authentication via email for a small fee. I've used them before and if you send the necessary photos they will answer within a few hours.

hi guys.. thank you so much for ur response!

the really sad part is that i purchased the bag because i got too excited but i emailed the seller back for its return seeing how it is a fake.

May i know what sets the bag off as a fake? Is it the serial number alone or is it the bag's design and craftmanship? When i touched it and looked through it, it looked pretty authentic to me (but I'm no expert). Your help is tremendously amazing!!!
