I have personal experience with relined bags which have had seals repositioned by Chanel.

In Japan, Chanel will occasionally reposition the original serial number after relining.

I've seen this happen twice in the last 6 months.

This happened to my husband's wallet on 9 May this year. I had his Caviar Trifold relined and they put the original serial number back into it. I was very surprised because I didn't expect this.

Another wallet that I bought, but later sold, also had the serial number repositioned after relining. This was the first time I had ever seen this. It was a long bi-fold wallet with an internal purse with a clip closure. The serial was repositioned under the edge of the clip closure. That was how I bought it, but the style was totally consistent for the serial number series.
I also have a relined vintage bag, which still has it's Chanel stamp, but not the country of origin stamp because that was in the relined section. The serial number was gone, but the gold sticker was repositioned.

Thanks for the useful advise, but i seller told me that the isnt any CHANEL STAMP. I'm worried abt the stamp. by the way, i have never seen this purse. Any idea which year is it?

Comments: I am inclined to believe that these are authentic due to the position of the serial number and of the arm bend but I would appreciate it if someone could confirm this for me. Thanks!

There has to be a stamping inside that says Chanel and Made in France (or) Italy. No authentic Chanel bag is without the stamping. No idea about age, but it has to be after the early 80s and should also have a hologram sticker. We need to see these details. If the seller can't provide them, pass on the deal.
