Perhaps take the time to read ADDY's Burberry Scarf Reference Guide.

Then let us know what you think .....

(Blue tags pre-date the beige ones - that's the simple explanation for the blue (older) tag. Check the first page of the guide and you will see 100% Cashmere scarves - Made in England - blue tags.)

Well here's what I think: instead of taking the time to read ADDY's Burberry Scarf Reference Guide (which I already read) it's better to think for yourself and do your own investigation and speak to Burberry reps and then go a few steps further and find out who and where makes those scarves (which I did a couple of years ago, and I've also been to the factory in Hawick, a factory that does scarves not only for Burberry for that matter). That Made in England 100% Cashmere scarf is a fake. If you want to see a real 100% cashmere scarf then a member MUSICMAX posted a question and photos about it - that is the real Burberry 100% cashmere scarf. That is the correct label, the correct font used, correct letter R and it says what it suppose to say: MADE EXCLUSIVELY IN SCOTLAND. I'm not criticizing you here, you're generally doing a good job, but if you're trying to help other people then please do it right and accept that there are people who may know more than you about some things. If you've got only ADDY's Scarf Ref Guide to back your words then maybe it's not enough? Has all details in this guide been confirmed to be true by Burberry Ltd or by the manufacturer? My opinion about this scarf is not based on what I think or on some online guide - I learnt it from the very source. Maybe I should send them ADDY's Scarf Ref Guide because they don't know what they're doing? Have a nice weekend. BTW yes, there are genuine scarves with blue labels but this is not one of them. Hope that helps.

Hello! New member here too, although I have been an anonymous/accountless stalker of purseforum for quite a few years already. Need never arose for me to create an account, but now curiosity is getting the better of me, and I just would like to have the following scarves checked for their authenticity! I have already read and looked through Addy's thread for Burberry scarves (this was before I made the purchase), and also browsed this thread and its predecessors, but I would like some one else's opinion, preferably someone who has more experience than I do (:

Item name: Authentic Burberry scarves ~ his and hers
Item number: 230867964803
Seller ID: nikki_s_20
Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230867964803&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

I think the link should still be viewable although the auction has ended - I bought the scarves because I didn't want to wait any longer in case someone came along to snatch them up. Giving one away to someone who means a lot to me.

Some more information, according to the seller:
a) When asked if there were other tags (e.g. care tags) she responded that the only care directions were as stated on the actual Burberry label itself - referring to the 'DRY CLEAN ONLY'
b) She corrected herself - both scarves are of the same size: 6 ft by 1 ft

Hoping to hear from you, thank you so much!

If the scarves in the link are the same scarves in your photos, then real.
There is that old, blue Burberry R again.
Additional side care tags, are on newer scarves - this label is correct for this vintage.
