Thank you so much! Is there anyway to tell the year of the bag from the 1 line authenticity tag/ serial number? Would love to know how old it is?
I can’t help with this item, unfortunately. I don’t know if the Padded Tech Cassette had an accessory pouch. All I can say is that the authenticity tag sewn into the accessory belongs to an authentic BV product.Hi everyone, I recently acquired a Men's Bottega Veneta Medium Padded Tech Cassette; which was eBay authenticated; but I just wanted to confirm with the experts here, the only flags I had was the absence of the Bottega Veneta branding/leather panel on the bottom edge of the bag on the same side as the hook for the extra pouch; and the reduced puffiness of the bag compared to others I have seen - though this may be because it has been used. I'm not sure whether this is significant - but an authentication serial number and tag is in the additional pouch, but not in the original bag.
Photos have been attached of the original receipt provided (with a signature blurred), and photos of the item. It would seem the bag was originally purchased at the Sydney, Australia store (where I am based) in 2021.

i see! is there a database or a way to enter the serial number to confirm authenticity for BV products? or is this largely based on the material of the tag, the logo and the font of the letters and numbers themselves?
