Hi I am looking to purchase a bottega pouch and found one on eBay. Would you be able to check from the attached pictures there is only one showing the tag clearly?

It seems they have gotten it either at an outlet or private sales hence the big drop in price.

Many thanks in advance.

I really need to see a clearer photo of the authenticity tag - preferably both sides. Nice and close up, please.

Hello! I’d like to verify the authenticity of this Cabat tote purchased from Rebag. There’s only an authenticity tag inside the pouch (not at the bottom inside the bag - unless it was removed). I’m also curious what year the bag was made!

I would like to see more of the bag - specifically the bottom. Please post a photo of the entire bottom of the bag. I am not familiar with Cabats of this vintage. If authentic, it would be one of the earliest Cabats made by Bottega Veneta (2002). The number 7349 on the plaque was the original model number, which is also noted on the authenticity tag inside the pouch. The only thing that gives me pause is the interior where the handles are sewn. I would expect to find a different method of fastening the handles.

I'm considering to buy a BV vintage small hobo bag in black, however there are some red flags.
1. the seller initially refused to share a picture of the serial numbers. I never encountered this problem whenever I buy a luxury bag. I asked why and she said it's because she's scared some random customers would use her picture to sell fake products. I said I need the serial numbers before I buy the bag.
2. The seller finally agreed to share the serial numbers with the promise that I would definitely buy the bag if it's proved to be authentic. I looked up the serial numbers on Google, and found that the exact serial numbers are on a bag being sold at a luxury bag platform, but the model is the larger hobo bag.

My question is, is it possible for some BV bags to have the same serial numbers, even though the sizes are different?
I will attach the pictures of the bags here. And these are the bag listings with the same serial numbers being sold on a different platform:

I’m really torn on this, sorry. I can’t really decide if this is authentic or not. On the whole, some things make me think authentic and there are some that make me lean towards not authentic. I think it might be best to have a paid authentication service look at this. There are several, and I can’t really recommend one because I’ve never used one before. Google search will give you several results, and make sure to check their reviews. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

The authenticity tag does not match. This is a medium Veneta, and the interior tag is for a Ball Bag.
The “serial number” for this item is unique to the style number, so a Veneta and a Ball Bag cannot share the style number. Furthermore, all Medium and Large Nero (black) Venetas share the colour code of 1000, not 8175.
