I jusy bought this from Vestiare Collective and I only have a few days to raise issue if its fake. Can someone please authenticate. I'm a little confused by the tag saying 12345678 and the leather feels slightly off, real leather but with a slight pleathery feel. I also thing its strange that its a vintage bag but the leather looks so new. Where as my other vintage BV leather is super soft. Please help me authenticate. Many thanks

Hi all! I’m new to the community I purchased a bag second hand last week as I thought it looked suspiciously like a BV. It arrived today and the quality is amazing, so much more premium than I was expecting, and I wondered if I could get any help on whether or not it could be a genuine Cabat? One thing to note is there are no labels that I can see, so it’s either not a BV at all or perhaps the label has been removed during its lifeline. It also has a cord fixed to the base of the bag that has had something cut off the end, which I think would be the internal pouch element. Would love to get your thoughts! It has some damage on the handles and some scuffs elsewhere too.

Need to see clear, close up photos of both sides of the authenticity tag, and a photo of the heatstamp.
It’s not vintage, this Veneta is less than 10 years old.
