My vintage knowledge isn’t that great, but this does look authentic to me. It’s probably from around the 70s or so - BV didn’t use an authenticity tag at that time.

Hi all! I’m new to the community I purchased a bag second hand last week as I thought it looked suspiciously like a BV. It arrived today and the quality is amazing, so much more premium than I was expecting, and I wondered if I could get any help on whether or not it could be a genuine Cabat? One thing to note is there are no labels that I can see, so it’s either not a BV at all or perhaps the label has been removed during its lifeline. It also has a cord fixed to the base of the bag that has had something cut off the end, which I think would be the internal pouch element. Would love to get your thoughts! It has some damage on the handles and some scuffs elsewhere too.

Hi, can someone help me authenticate this mini pouch? Bought it secondhand. The leather feels butter soft like my mini jodie, but the big dustbag and stamp seem weird to me. She also smells a bit different than my mini jodie but could be a slight odor from storing, not sure. Seller says she bought it at the airport in Istanbul and had provided ticket/bill.
