Hello! Seen this “peltro” mini, MINi cabat on VC. To me it appears fake looking at both the tag, pouch shape and the general sizing is not something I ever seen for any TM era cabat. The new mini is a recent invention.

Nevertheless, just curious, if this is some super rare version of the cabat I never seen? …But highly doubt it.

This is the strangest bag I’ve ever seen. The size doesn’t exist, and even if it was a special order, BV would have only made a silhouette that was currently in production. Yet the color is amazing - so Peltro. The details and construction really very nice. The tag inside the pouch belongs to a Peltro something, but I don‘t know what, without seeing the entire tag. The inscription on the pouch is just so… random.

This bag looks like one Maryvonne Pinault has carried before. I would assume hers was a special order.

Well spotted, I recall seeing this picture ages ago. So maybe it is a legit, unique special order piece.

The size seems so perfect yet not something I’ve seen. The colour looks great indeed.

I might ask the seller for a clearer pic of the tag and ask BV to confirm. The old metallics from BV are absolutely stunning.

I would love to get my hands on a moon cabat at some point. Or if they did a re issue

OMG a clutch-sized Cabat. If I had the money I’d be all over this. Might do it anyway - another one of a kind bag!

I sure hope someone here buys this Cabat. This is definitely a once in a lifetime lucky find! FYI, search for Maryvonne Pinault on the forum, and this bag (and discussion of it) will come up.
Slightly off topic, but how would one even value a bag like this…. Eh stupid question. A one-off, no others like it - I guess whatever one wants to pay, as you will attest to.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I'm guessing this bag was probably part of a collection of Maryvonne Pinault's bags auctioned off for charity, then the new owner sold it. But the story behind this one - that's where the value lies.

That makes sense - I was trying to figure out how it came on the market - and charitable endeavors works for me.
