Hey guys,
Im new Here since I’ve just bought my first Bottega Cassette, but I have some doubts since I’ve looked at photos of other cassettes and all of them seem to have some kind of branding inside of the bag, this one doesn’t have it. Only the number tag behind the pocket. Could you guys please help me whether it’s real or not? Cause I’m worried

Thank you so much for the prompt response! I was worried bc the design looked so different from the majority of hobos I saw on resale sites (e.g. thicker weaved handles, braided edges rather than raw braided edge). I wonder if this design was made for the outlet? In any case, thank you again!Beautiful and authentic, IMO
It’s possible the previous owner never used it.
No, the Veneta wasn’t made for outlet. This bag was redesigned in 2014? 2015? with a seamless handle and finished edging.
I’m surprised not to see a brand imprint inside as well. Is the pocket canvas? That could be why.Hey guys,

While I’m not familiar with this particular Cassette Bag, I can tell you the authenticity looks like what you’d see in an authentic BV bag.
The pocket is nylon. I got it from Giglio.com, which seems to be a legit store, but I’m always afraid since it’s an online store and I heard stories that people buy originals and then return fakes. So I got worried when I saw there’s no logo inside since I checked an most of them seem to have something

Эта сумка очень старая, поэтому белая бирка не сохранилась. на золотой табличке написано 99/150 и 2002. есть ли шанс что сумка не подделка? There should be a white tag sewn into the base of the bag. Take pictures of both sides and this will further help our authenticators.

Unfortunately, the White Tag has not been preserved due to the very active use of the bag over the years. so I'm wondering if there are red flags that would say that this cabat is a fake or can you say that this bag is probably the original

You could always carry it to a BV boutique, and while browsing at other items, casually mention that you forgot what colour it is, and would they happen to know? Whomever has been put in charge of manufacturing these bags has really dropped the ball, IMO. Since around 2019/2020, there has been a real lack of consistency with these bags. They don’t use any particular brand of zipper anymore, they change hardware colour from month to month it seems, some buckles are engraved - some aren’t.... the overall quality of the bag you posted is nowhere near what you would have found ten years ago. (I hope I didn’t offend you, it wasn’t my intention, but more of an observations of the more recent offerings by the brand)
