I'm not as familiar with this "embroidered" style of Veneta but looking at the photos, it looks good to me. I see the auction doesn't last much longer. The price seems very reasonable. good luck!

The second one is easy--it's authentic. The first bag, I'm just not sure. I've never seen anything like this style and there isn't a good pic of the font or a pic of the authenticity tag. I checked seller's other bags for sale and the BV's don't look authentic to me, so if it were me, I wouldn't take a chance.

Can someone please help me with this? Also, what is the name of the color on this bag? Is it a regular color that BV carries but just in the small size?

A pic of the authenticity tag would be nice, but there are no warning signs on this bag--I think it's a real BV. The color looks like Noce, which is a classic color--they produce it every season. these little hobos are cute.

Dear Boxermom,
thank you for your attention and much respected opinion. I just have one nero large veneta, bought directly from their London boutique, but I am already in love with the brand. The listed item confuses me as this style is very expensive and I cannot think of a reason why anyone would sell it for a fraction of the original price. Also, seller would not send me the serial number or photo of the authenticity tag. Anyway, thanks again for your reply.:smile1:

ITA with the ladies here on the Old Petra sloane, I have this bag and the authenticity label is the same! I hope someone on the forum gets it, this bag is a beauty!

Hi boxermom. Thanks for authenticating. The seller added a pic of the authenticity tag. Could you help check that out? TIA! Yes, these little hobos are really cute. :nuts:I was hoping to get one in black though. I thought noce is a lighter brown. But then again, the browns are really confusing for me i never get them right. :confused1:

Do you know how much they retail for? BV no longer makes them?:confused1:

It looks like the real BV authenticity tag to me. I know the browns can look different depending on my computer monitor, how the photo was edited/adjusted, the light, etc. I hope others will look at it and give their opinion of whether it's Noce or a seasonal color from awhile ago. No idea what they sold for retail. Maybe you could call a BV store and ask an SA if they have any info on the retail for the bag. I've never seen one in a store, but I don't know if they're still produced or not. Nizlay, Bunkie, bagsforme, anyone know about the mini-hobo?

Thanks boxermom!:yes: I called my local BV store and they don't seem to recall even having the veneta in that size! That's weird. :confused1: Maybe others can chip in. The seller also does not have the receipt nor the care cards nor the dust bag. Should i be worried? She said she thought she was going to keep the bag at first, so threw everything away. Hmmmz. :s I asked for pic under natural sunlight. She would probably take it in the morning. We'll see. IN the meantime, still don't know how much they retail. Anyone?:supacool:

I have never seen one of these IRL but I believe they pop up on ebay every once ina while. Noce is a relatively new colour, so I don't think that is the colour of this bag, but from my experience Bv seems to rehash the tan/brown colours every so often, so even if its not exactly the same colour its probably very similar. All the details look good. This season they have brought out a mini Veneta which is much smaller than even this small one! Good luck if you decide to bid. Its very cute:smile1:

Thank you nizlay! :p This mini veneta is so adorable. I can never figure out the browns. I just leave it to you experts to tell me! :wlae:As long as its authentic, i'm good! I still wonder how much it retails for. When did they start and did they stop making it for a long time? y'know?

I saw the super tiny veneta in a magazine. It which will hit the stores sometime Feb 08. It is only about slightly bigger than my palm! Tiny!! :nuts:But really cute!!!!:rolleyes:
