Yes, I, too, purchased a fake BV on eBay for a very substantial amount of money. Did you pay with pay with Paypal and/or a credit card? I do not trust this seller to give you a refund, because she/he posted a real BV sales receipt with this obvious fake bag. If you have not already returned it, please file a dispute with Paypal for an item received not as described. Filing with you credit card company will also do the trick. If you have already returned it, contact eBay and Paypal, anyway. You might read through this forum: you will see at least 3 discussions of this problem, and how it was handled by others. I am not familiar with wallets, but the font looks ok, as does the authenticity tag - as long as the color is a dark brown, or ebano... zipper pull, too.

Any wallet mavens?

I did this one earlier, but it was included among a large group of other listings: What she shows looks ok, but request clear pictures of the authenticity tag located in the zipper pocket - both sides. I also like to see pictures of the interior. The description she gives indicates that this is a medium size Veneta with a current suggested price of $1480, I believe, not $1850 for the large.

Thanks Baggiana! I have a good feeling about this but I just realized that someone might have returned a fake and I ended up getting it. But I checked other similar photos of the tag and the namestamp and it appears real. Yes, it is a dark brown "ebano". The flash just lightens the color.

That said, the font of the impressed logo looks ok to me, but before you purchase, request clear, close-up photos of the authenticity tag in the interior of the zipper pocket - front and back, the magnets, the zipper pull, and the interior fabric of the pocket. The seller has no feedback, and this could be a problem.

There are others who do have this bag in Limo, and hopefully, they can tell you if the lining color is correct.

Thanks everybody for helping me! I did get my money back. It was a good lesson for me: sometimes a person can want something so badly that they overlook important details. I've decided to stick with retail for these beauties. E bay is too risky for me. I wish everybody luck! Again, thank you so much.

Authentic, and the seller is a member of tPF. It really is cute! :tup:

In the future, ask to see a picture of the embossed BV stamp so that you can check the font.
