I'm new to tPF and I've been reading through the posts. I have four BV's, two from Bluefly and two from NM. The two from Bluefly are definitely authentic and arrived in pristine condition.

The 1st listing is the worst looking Ball bag I've ever seen. It must be fake--the lines and shape aren't right at all. why is it so wrinkled? I swear I've seen this pic before, but seller has 0 feedback, so the whole thing is sketchy.

The Marco Polo style bag is a line I don't know much about at all. Look at the interior zipper material--it's cut so it doesn't meet neatly; BV would do a much better job, don't you think?

The rest of you who know BV--what's up with these bags?

Except for the first bag, they are styles I haven't seen in the US, so I hope our UK/international members give opinions on these. I don't really see any warning signs. The white bag puzzles me--I've never seen a woven bag with slits in the leather strips. If it's limited edition, as seller states, wouldn't there be a metal plate inside?

More pics, especially of the interior, will help. Sorry I can't assist much.

Hi Boxermom

I agree with you that the white bag is unusual. It is those slits in the leather strips that puzzle me too. Furthermore seller says that authenticity tag has been stitched in so I cannot have a picture. All my requests for more pictures from this seller have not been granted apart from the authenticity tag in the brown model.
many thanks for your help

I think that picture looks familiar because it's the same wrinkly mess bluegenie posted awhile ago in the Report This thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/bottega-veneta/report-this-bottega-182492-3.html, when it was eBay item 250170422275. I reported it then, and I'm reporting it now.

Wow! Good memory, hovercraftier! It certainly deserves reporting.:yucky: I get so discouraged reporting obvious fakes--seems the fakes don't get taken down, but often legit. sellers are harrassed (probably by the scammers). We do what we can.:shrugs:

Hi Nizlay

Many thanks for your reply. I myself have the luna bag (did not know however it was called 'luna') . However mine is in black and the metal parts are all in a 'metal' colour. The Brown one has the round part in 'Brown' so I was unsure.
I did not know about venetas with slits before so many thanks for the info!
