:yes: In some cases they do bait-and-switch - bookermoose had that happen to her, where the pics were real but the bag she received was a plastic-y fake. If they used actual-bag pics it would be more obvious to you too.

Lately whenever a limo Sloane comes up on eBay they've all used the same pics - you start to remember them!

Can someone take a look at this please? I love the wallet but three pictures that the seller posted do not show any sign of the authentification tag. I asked for the pictures of the tag and the stamp though. Will see how the seller respond.

Is it possible that some old model wallets may not have the tag attached? Many thanks.

It's possible that a limited edition wouldn't have a tag. I'd think there would be a stamp somewhere. It's hard to see the hardware but it appears to be the style BV uses on zippers. I'd wait to see if seller provides any additional photos.

Thanks! I'm still trying to compare the difference between a Cassis & a Carminio. Every site I visit, the colours looked somewhat different!

I wanted a deeper red.. something darker.. not brighter. Cassis looks bright while Carminio looks wine? I saw the Carminio on BV USA website and I think the colour looks gorgeous.

How about Moutrade? I know it's mustardy-yellow but how does a New Ball looks in Moutrade? I'm asian so have yellow-toned skin. I doubt a yellowy colored bag will compliment me.

does this mean the sloane shown in the pictures linked by etsonis are fake, or that fakers are using pics of real BV bags to dupe buyers into thinking the quality is good? i'm a bit freaked out, b/c i originally thought the bag was real (the color and drape of the leather seemed very BV...!)

i think mustard looks great with asians that are a bit darker - not the pale pale skin. i used to wear mustard all the time. my veneta is aurora which is a pale cream skin tone and just biased, but feel marvelous

all I know is that the first pic has been used at several listings before-not a good sign
