Please help me with this one. I asked for photos of the certificato di originalita and zipper head but seller said that all were in the posted photos. She guaranttes authenticity and said that she bought this in a store in NY.

Thanks,

Vicky

Seller's added more photos but just not of the certificate that's supposed to be sewn into the bag. Fishy?

Well the HK grommet hobo proves that the bag previously asked about should have an authenticity tag as well as a font to photograph. why won't the seller cooperate? A potential buyer isn't out of line asking for more detailed pics. This bag has been faked so you need to be careful.

Thanks boxermom. I've already bought 4 BV bags in Ebay and so far, I am lucky to get all authentic. It's because I got the first one authenticated here at the Purse Forum and from then on I've always been looking at all the marks esp the authentication tag. I've learned so much from this forum. If the seller doesn't cooperate then I forget about it.

boxermom, scala, blugenie, bv.luxury and all of those who helped authenticate -- thank you so much for your help, I got my scala pyramid bag yesterday and it's gorgeous!
My daughter is on vacation with my camera, I'll post pictures next week

It looks authentic to me. The dustbag is from about 2 yrs ago, so maybe buyers don't want to start bidding at a rather high level for a bag that isn't less than a year old, even if it's never been used. I'm not saying the bag is worth less, just that it may be a possible reason. For a medium Veneta, unused, a buyer would be saving $500-600.

Hmmm, the font looks good. I wish I knew more about this style. It looks to be unlined--maybe it really doesn't have an authenticity tag sewn inside.:confused1:

Please--any grommet hobo owners--what's the answer here?

in addition to boxermom's response, i think timing is bad for someone selling an older classic bag when there are so many sales with so many beautiful NEW bags and you know that the ebano veneta is going to show up again, even though this one is a good deal.

there is another one for sale i am looking at that is really cheap. boxermom, baggiana or one of the other experts should verify authenticity but i believe Linda's stuff has been cleared as a good seller
