Did you use a credit card to purchase the bag? If so, they may be able to cancel the charge. I'm surprised that since the seller mentioned magnetic closure, yet it doesn't work doesn't qualify as *not significantly as described* or whatever it is ebay will use for refunds.

Put some dryer sheets in your bag and let it sit for a few days. I think that will help with the smell. As for the magnetic closure, you could contact BV and see if they can replace it for you. Our India had that done on a Cervo Hobo.

I think you should keep in mind what a smokin' deal you got on this bag. It's basically 60 percent off AND nice and broken in. Even if you spend $400 getting it cleaned and closure mended, it's still a heck of a deal on for a BV.

If the bag smells, it's not a bargain if you can't use it, return it. You have ebay buyer protection, you should get your money back. Good luck and never settle, no matter what the price, that is what eBay protection is about.

I agree. I keep fighting with eBay but they say that they do not cover smells which I think is crazy. The smell is so bad I don't think anything will take it out. eBay has disappointed me and now I will be afraid to buy anything on there. It's sad that sellers can basically steal from you and there is nothing you can do about it.

try putting baking soda in it just punch holes in the top of the box and put it upright in the bag leave it for a couple of days and see what happens

Did you pay via payPal with a credit card? If so, call PayPal and tell them you are filing a chargeback if they do not refund ASAP. They hate chargebacks. The bag is not as described, the seller did not disclose the odor, fight this one to the end. Smells are not something you should have to try and remove.
