Post #1 of this thread explains the photos we need to see for authentication. Seller should provide clear photos of both sides of the white authenticity tag (often found inside a pocket), the stamped back side of the metal zipper head slide and definitely the heatstamp/font. Thanks!

I am new to this forum and also new to expensive designer handbags and I hope I am not breaking any rules, as the question I have is not about a purse I plan to buy, but one I already bought. I found it at a thrift store on Thursday. When I touched it, it was the softest leather and suede (lining) that I had ever felt. I am trying to find out if this bag is the real deal, which would be wonderful, because after a really bad year, this would be exactly what I need. It says Bottega Veneta on the label. I have attached as many pictures as possible and would appreciate any help from all of you experts out there.

I think I will invest in having the lining cleaned by a professional service and sadly part with it, as I need the money. But before that, I will use it just once and feel great :)

Comments: please help authenticate. I found this ended item and paid through PayPal because the seller still had it. The lining is not as soft as other suede linings of theirs and the stitching at the handle seems really scrunched and the weaving is not totally even there with a couple different sizes. Thanks!
