This is authentic so you saved yourself several hundred dollars over buying through a department store or boutique. I don't keep meticulous track of prices, but it seems to me that the reseller prices of the new/never used bags has gone down from a couple years ago. The retail prices went from about $1900 on a large Veneta to $2250 last year, yet the reseller market looks lower to me (and I've sold a couple of never-used bags).

Comments: I just got this bag and am concerned because the magnetic closure will not stay closed and the straps squeak. It also has a smell to it and no dust bag or mirror. Please help. Thanks!

The bag is authentic. The listing says no dustbag. I don't remember if the Campana comes with a mirror or not. Not all BV styles do.

Since no smell was mentioned or that the magnetic closure doesn't work, I would contact the seller about these fairly significant omissions. I had a Campana once and the straps didn't squeak, so I don't know what to think about that issue.

The seller called me a liar and I escalated the claim to eBay and they told me that they don't cover smells and that the magnetic closure worked fine. I am so upset because I am out all this money and can't use the bag. The smell is an awful storage smell. I don't know what to do. I am so disappointed with eBay and their "buyer protection"
