I second this opinion - this is a HORRIBLE example of a Cabat! - I was trying to find where to have you start reading about Cabats, Lt Bag Lady just completed a series of responses about Cabat authentication that is excellent reading and starts here: http://forum.purseblog.com/bottega-veneta-shopping/authenticate-bottega-veneta-3-use-proper-format-shown-538136-620.html#post24932387
Not always the case! Special Orders do not have an edition #.
I've handled a few Special order Cabats, orders placed by long time Purse Forum members.
See the tag is also sewn into the pouch not the bottom of the Cabat, no edition # on the plate.
Thank you for letting me know that the Bottega Veneta Special Order Cabats have the white tag inside the pouch and no #/500 or 750 on the metal plate. I have never seen nor contemplated a Special Order Cabat because of the 30% mark-up. The Cabats are expense enough and never fathomed paying at a minimum of $2,000 or more for a Special Order
. For the a little more than the mark-up $, I can buy another Large Veneta in the current sesonal color
