I would say this is NOT authentic.

the frame is the same for all knot bags

so if one is slightly different in size, that is a sign of possible fraud? The shape just looks funny to me. I could be completely off base on that, but sometimes you get a gut feeling.
The weaving is obviously uneven ... If you follow the line of one weave you can clearly see where it goes off and then the whole thing is obviously not right. :smile1:

I'm not sure on this one. There should be a heatstamp/font with the name *Bottega Veneta* and *made in Italy* below it somewhere on one of the interior sides. Ask the seller to provide that. The price is very low, so I don't know how much trouble you want to go to for authentication. But I would need to see more.

ok thanks! will ask the seller for it.

yes it is because they use the same frame for all knot bags
in fact most hard clutches use the same frame like the knot bag (I remember the brand but someone I think it was (dam my mind just blanked) the guy who designs for LV I think they did a clutch no it wasn't LV with instead of a knot at the top it is skulls it is the same frame as the knot bag.)
I think if you look at the hand of the artisan on the website you will see a pile of the frames that they use to make the knot bag
however I did not want to say anything because I am not sure how much bigger or smaller her bag seems to be
some knot bags are a little bigger or smaller because of the leather or fabric they have used but it is not significant to notice

I and at least one other authenticator do not think this is authentic. If you have paid, ask the seller to return your money.

just got a reply from the seller and she said all the pictures of the labels have been posted already, and there's no more pictures of other labels that she could show me... does that mean that it's not authentic?

This bag is a bit older so I don't know if the heatstamp has worn smooth; it may be old enough that it had a stamped metal plate and the plate is missing. I'm not saying it's not authentic, just that there isn't enough information to tell. Maybe someone else here can tell you more. It's inexpensive, so if you like it, whether or not it's genuine BV may not be a big deal to you.

Sometimes I just can't tell if something is authentic or not, when we have so few details to examine.
