This looks good from the pictures provided - but if possible, I would like to see a good, clear, close-up of the front of the authenticity tag. If your seller wants to let you inspect the bag at the local BV store with authentication (though they will not do it here in the US) and you have the time, I would do it. It is always best to handle the bag to make sure you know what you are getting.

IMO, this is an authentic made-for-outlet Bottega Veneta wallet. You might check with the outlets to see what the going price of this type of wallet is. The color is scala.

I believe their policy is not to determine authenticity unless you are asking them to *refurbish, reline, etc.* the bag. If your friend asked for a written statement saying it's genuine, I'd bet money they would refuse to do it. I don't know of any designer brands that will do that. I'm so sorry for you and for your friend. Did she say where she obtained the bag?

Thank you. The bag was bought in Munich, Germany several years ago. My friend accuses me that my photos aren´t clear ( which I think is not true) and that it is impossible to verify authenticity according to these photos and that nobody said why this bag isn´t authentic. I am really sad for this even if I have my money on my bank account. She is going to our local BV boutique again on Wednesday ( we live in the Czech republic) and they promise to authenticate this for her again but I don´t know if she will recieve a written statement as well.

Hello! We will need more photos. Please read post #1 in this thread for a description of the photos we use to authenticate the bags. From the 3 photos shown I don't see anything bad, but we need to see more photos. That message also shows you the format that we like to use--it makes it quicker for members to give you an answer.
