I'd defer to Miss Fancy Bags because she's obviously more familiar with the style--provided that the seller could find the tag where MFB says it should be.

As for this other listing, as boxermom says, I'm not familiar with the style, either, but it seems okay to me, too.

Photos aren't sufficient to authenticate. Please check post #1 in this thread for more info. For this bag, we would at least need clear, readable photos of the white authenticity tag and the font/heat stamp.

There is no other tag or number in this bag. There is a sticker residue under the magnet. The zipper has no any mark.

The vintage bags didn't have tags in them. This is authentic vintage. If you are the new owner, congratulations on a great deal! I love the gathered bottom.

We need to see both sides of the white authenticity tag. Check post #1 in this thread for the photos that help us authenticate. I see no warning signs but we need more.

Yes. I am the new owner. Actually, I am about to return it. I love the gathered bottom very much. But Could you check this picture,too? The side of the cover has some rubbing ( opening). Other than that the condition is very good.
Do you think that this worn part is fixable? It will be great to hear your opinion? I really have no idea about BV and its value.

Thank you to thOse who replied to my inquires yesterday! The "ebano" colored travel bag looked authentic to me based off the tags, overall appearance of leather quality and because it is not one of the more popular styles commonly used for cheap replicas. Can anyone tell me though if there is anything aside from the position and shape of the letter O in bottega on the inside label that is widely specific to look out for with this brand when determining authenticity? I know that each model bag has it's eccentricities but sometimes there are brand specific rules to go by, like how goyard always uses white stitches down the center of the handles except on black totes for their st. Louis line... To my knowledge that is the rule anyway. Thank you all!
