I don't know what to think about this bag. I've never seen a Campana in snakeskin(not even sure this is snakeskin) and I would think any Campana would have a leather lining of some kind. The stated retail price is off, too.

Anyone else care to comment? (Please!)

It looks good, but to be sure we'd like to see a photo of the metal name plate that you can see (but can't read) inside the bag. I'm almost certain that it's authentic though. Yes, it's older, probably from the mid-to-late 1990's-2001.

I am waiting for pics of closer view of the Bottega Veneta stamp as well as the back of the white tag but haven't received as of yet. Thought I would get thoughts as auction ends today.
Any thoughts on color? States luggage but seller said she wasn't sure what the official name is, that is just how she references it.

Thanks in advance for asking for the additional photos from the seller, and please post them when you get them. In the meantime, please do not rely on my opinion, because I'm not familiar with the older Venetas--but this seems like an older Veneta to me. The photos remind me of the tea color from a few years ago, but it's not tea.

I hope one of the others who are more versed with the older era Venetas (boxermom? Miss FB?) will chime in to help you.

Hi, it looks like an authentic vintage terra-cotta ("baked earth" in Italian) veneta. I don't see any warning signs and, hopefully, you'll receive the other pictures you've asked for! :smile1:

Hi, this auction didn't show enough pictures to give an opinion. At the minimum, we needed to see "Bottega Veneta" embossed into the suede. On the plus side, the seller is reputable, I've had pleasant dealings with him, and I don't see any warning signs. :smile1:

I think this is authentic but the photo that is missing is the one of the font plaque inside the bag attached to the side. It would help if seller would provide that photo. This is a bit older bag. I imagine it came in some classic colors as well--probably Nero (black), Ebano(dark brown) and possibly some seasonal colors as well, but the bag is several years old.
