So I just received this aquilone from bluefly. I've never owned a BV so I have no idea what is normal. I wasn't expecting purple suede lining. I had a really hard time getting a good picture of the zipper but it says riri on top and M6 on bottom. More pics in the next post...

I don't see any warning signs, but I'd like to see the white authenticity tag. They sometimes aren't easy to photograph in a wallet, but sellers can do it. By the way, a new one directly from Bottega Veneta costs $390.

Authentic. BV used purple suede in some of the styles from the Fall-Winter 2010/2011 collection. I bought a couple bags from the collection that had the traditional grey-tan linings and I was disappointed. I wanted purple!

I love the braided handles that BV does. Congratulations!

If they can photograph the white authenticity tag that would confirm it, but I think this is authentic. I have this exact wallet in this color and LOVE it!

This wasn't a special edition but it was a seasonal design from a couple years ago. This is the large Veneta. I see no warning signs but we always want to see the font (stamped imprint inside the bag near the zipper pocket and if possible, a photo of the back of the zipper pull where the brand name is stamped to confirm our opinions.

Thank you boxermom for your help. I have sent a request for a picture of the stamped inprint inside the bag but I am not sure what to ask regarding the photo of the back of the zipper pull. I own an orange veneta clementine (embossed orange color with blue lining) and I don't see anything on the zipper pull. Does it mean mine is fake? Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
