Comments. I'm new to this thread. Hope I'm doing this right. I purchased this purse yesterday. It appears almost black in color but is actually a very dark blue. I has a metal buckle on the shoulder strap that says "BV". Inside is a zippered pocket. Inside the pocket is a multi-colored tag that says "BV", outside is a metal plate that says "BV" and the zipper pull is like a tear drop. The inside is leather or something similar.
Today, I found what appears to be an identical purse on a well known online auction site. However, the inside lining of that purse looks like it might be a shiny material. Perhaps, the inside of that purse is just in better shape than the one I purchased.
Can someone confirm mine is authentic and give me an idea of what I should have paid for it? THANKS

I forgot to include the front and back of the tag so I'm attaching it here. The inside of the bag definitely shows signs of use - there are scuffs and some wearing off or rubbing off of the leather (or whatever the inside of made of). I don't think a genuine could have so much internal wear and still look good on the outside and the back of the tag doesn't have any numbers so now I'm thinking it may be a fake.

Your pictures are too blurry to see well. Please retake so that we can tell you about the authenticity for sure - though it might well be authentic... better pics will allow us to determine. This is an older vintage bag I believe, and as such I have no idea what was originally paid.
My camera isn't very good quality but I tried again. Are these pictures clear enough to tell? Also, the listing for the bag that looks just like mine and is currently on ebay (listed as midnightblue, one word) sounds like it's a newer bag but I thought the tags on mine meant it was vintage. Are they reproducing vintage bags? I'm clueless. I probably bought a bag that's worth $5.00 THANKS

Hi, normally we have a authentication format (see post 1 of this thread), but I can tell you that this is authentic and that cuqui1064 is a reliable seller & lovely purse forum member
Your bag looks like authentic vintage. Some styles are made for years and years so the tags and fonts could change even if the outside style looks the same.
