Oh great! Thanks so much! Are bags in the U.S. usually sold with "Originality Certified?"

It's more that the format of the tag changes after a certain period of time. Whether it's seen more on a certain type of bag or part of the world, I can't answer. As far as I know, it's the most current incarnation of the authenticity tag. Jburgh...if I've said too much, please delete :smile1:

HI , hope the experts can help me again. Attached are the photos which my seller sent to me. Does it look good to buy? I won but still yet to pay. I'm concerned the the seller said she can't see the 2nd line of serial no, but able to give first line as
121059 V0013 5000.

ITEM NAME: BOTTEGA VENETA Woven Lilac Purple French Flap Wallet
LISTING NUMBER: 140418022745
SELLER ID: deb.nabi

The color code is for Parma and the photos don't show the right purple for Parma. Maybe seller's camera is off or my monitor isn't showing the true color. Maybe the other authenticators can read the font photo, but it's in shadow and doesn't enlarge so I'm going to wait for others to give an opinion. The interior otherwise looks right.

I think it looks good (new pics in 1878); many times the 2nd line is sewn into the seams and not visible. :smile1:

Oh this is great , thank you so much! :)

These small items are so hard to authenticate. I honestly don't know and am not familiar with this particular item.

Hi there. this is what I gathered from the net that still sells them.
http://www.polyvore.com/bottega_veneta_double_woven_bracelet/thing?id=12516533

I wish I know from what collection this bracelet came from :( Still, any help will be greatly appreciated and if authentic, I would suggest that it be added to our inventory here in the purse forum. TIA :)

please authenticate this wallet, Thanks.

Hi, we have a format for authentications. It's in the first post of the thread and I've copied it here for you :smile1::

It is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

Item Name:
Listing number:
Seller name or ID:
Working Link:
Comments:

Pictures
Pictures we need for authentication requests must be distortion free, and clear close-ups of...
all logos on leather and hardware
zippers and zipper pulls
both sides of the authenticity tag
lining
other hardware
mirror if included
Also...views of sides, front, back, top, inside and bottom

i am sorry, none of us is saying this is a fake, but ms_fb, boxermom and myself don't see enough details we need to see to authenticate one way or another and aren't familiar with this style. polyvore is not one of our listed authentic resellers - again, not a statement about polyvore, just saying it is a social network/community site that pulls details from lots of places, not a true seller that can be validated. you could continue to repost in hopes others weigh in, but since three of us have, why not just enjoy your bracelet.
