I'm not sure what to think about this bag. Some details look good; the mirror is a mess. I've never had to have a broken strip repaired, so I don't know if it can be done well. In my opinion, it's overpriced for the condition.

Wait for more opinions. I think it's probably authentic, but not sure.

I believe this is authentic but would like to see a picture of where "Bottega Veneta" is embossed inside. It may be above a slot pocket on this style. I've had mirrors with sloppy embossings so that looks OK to me, also. But man, the price!

I agree with Boxermom that the lighting may be making the color appear distorted and that we can't see the logo well enough to give a thumbs up or down opinion.

We really need to see clear, undistorted pictures of the auth tag (front and back), zipper pulls, and logo to properly authenticate. :smile1:

I do think it's authentic but may have been relined because I don't think the lining is original. If it were, there would be the brown and white auth. tag with the arrow on it in the zippered pocket. I did own the beaded leopard one in this style and the lining should be a plain black satin.

Thanks for that info. The listing does now show that there's an authenticity tag, so perhaps it's just an unusual lining -- special edition or something not available in the U.S. In any case, your reply was very helpful. Thanks!

No worries, sofiaho! I just mentioned that it had been authenticated previously so that the other authenticators knew which bag I was referring to when they saw the pictures. We discussed this one because it is a seldom seen outlet veneta with a nylon lining instead of suede.

Aha I thought the lining was a bit weird(it looked a bit cheap to me)
