Gorgeous bag! The leather handles on the snakeskin tote appear to be Vachetta leather which is not treated on the underside of the straps. This is not uncommon with Vachetta. Follow this link and zoom on the left strap and you will see that it is not treated.

Hello there. I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping some of you can help me. I found a Botkier bag at my local goodwill for $7. I think it might be real xxxxxxx. But I'm not familiar with Botkier and won't sell it if it's fake. Can any of you tell me if this looks good or not? Let me know if you need pics of anything specific. Here's a few I uploaded already.

I actually think it looks good, but I would wait for a second to say for sure. $7 - wow!

Thanks Sarahsar. I didn't realize what it was at first. I picked it up because it's such a nice looking leather bag. Only later did I notice the little emblem on the side. I'd heard of Botkier, but I'm more of juicy girl myself. I still can't believe I paid $7 for it. The bag is used, but it's in great shape. Whoever bought it didn't use it much before it was donated.

I'm really starting to fall in love with the bag. I don't think I'll part with it. The leather is so soft and gorgeous.
