here are pics of the bag, it's a Botkier Turbo Trigger, not sure what the official colour is:

none of my botkiers have silver/chrome hardware, maybe some of you may own one that does have similar hardware? this one has shiny hardware, as opposed to one with a "brushed finished", like the ones I do own. mind you, my oldest one if from 2008, so, please chime in if you do own older styles that have similar hardware to this

magnetic closure, my newer botkiers have leather-covered magnetic closures, but do older versions have this?

this is the scuff that the bag came with, which i was aware of. however, with the feel of this bag, i really do not believe that this is LEATHER. even the way the scuff looks up close, it looks like it's grained pleather with the paint peeled due to the scratch

Definitely fake. The Botkier logo lining is all wrong. I know some here talk about the zippers being different with earlier bags, but by the time they started using a logo lining, zipper should either be a leather pull or a brass plate, not a plain, cheapy regular zipper.

I notice a few things off about this bag. I have a Fan Hobo and it has the black logo lining but my inside pocket is lined in leather and 2) has a leather tab zipper pull. 3) The keyring chain is off. 4) The dogleash clip under the bag is off as well, mine is not square at all.

Hi, I recently bought a Monica Botkier Carlton Frame Satchel which I love. It has beige suede lining in it. I've seen others on eBay that are posted having jaquard logo lining. I'm wondering if I'm stuck with a fake. Any help would be appreciated. I'm new to Purse Forum.

I am suspicious of the regular pull zippers. I'm not sure we've ever gotten a clear answer here as to whether or not the older Triggers had those. As for that bag, again, I'm not familiar enough with the older Trigger styles to say, but those pictures are of pretty poor quality. It's hard to make out much detail of the leather or interior.

hey everyone...

i just recently bid and won a botkier bag but i am unsure of the authenticity of this bag. the listing didnt mention which version it was, and while scouring the internet, i cant seem to find any botkier bag like it. after reading a lot of posts on here, i am finding out that the zipper pull is a good determination if it is authentic or not. its not like my other botkier which is a bronze metal pull with 'botkier' on it. what do i do???

Hopefully someone else will chime in here, but the zipper pull and lining material are concerning to me. I'm not sure what style this is either. It would help to know that to see if anyone here knows what lining/zipper that type of bag should have. I can just say that I don't know of any more recent Botkier with that type of lining/zipper. It would have to be an older style.

i noticed the lining is a little different then my other botkier which i know is authentic. the word botkier should be written right side up and upside down back and forth and the lining of this new one they are all right side up. and that darn zipper pull. the listing of course says no returns, so i dont even know what i need to do to get my $ back on this bag. super frustrated.
