Authenticate This Bally

hello!! I purchased a Bally vintage bag from a thrift store today and I can't seem to find the same model anywhere online so maybe you can help me! it's black and has a golden logo inside, genuine leather beige lining, metal frame opening and fastened with golden screws. Does anyone have any idea if it's original and if it is, than how is this model called?? thank you!!!! Hi all, I'm hoping you can help... I've emailed Bally to see if they will authenticate this Gladstone style bag that I got at an estate sale, or tell me ANYTHING about it, but they suggested to go to a Bally store to have it authenticated. The store is an hour away, so I'm kind of hoping to avoid that trek! I can't find a serial number in it, but the leather quality feels fantastic, and I've seen some of the 80's (I think) bags with that cotton canvas lining; I'm just really lost on this one!

This should be a Bally Stripe Weekender bag from 2011/2013. It's in black leather. Please the pictures. Has anyone seen this bag in black before and is it authentic?
Best,

I just ordered (received) this bag from an online purchase (resale site) and I'm having doubts that it is an authentic Bally. I have many Bally bags that I've purchased new and they've never come with wrapped handles or a little leather swatch. Also, the tag is weird. I googled the info on the tag and it seems to link to many questionable Bally men's bags... with every number being the same as my tag. Also, Bally is stitched on the front of the bag and it's pretty messy. I've attached photos, would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!IMG_8005.jpg IMG_8006.jpg

Hi everyone

I'm looking at buying a Bally bag. I always research, research, research before any purchase, especially on *bay... However, there seems to be no real information on websites or authenticity ANYWHERE :confused1: Only many, many websites selling obvious replicas.

And, I was wondering why there is not a Bally section on TPF ?

Does anyone know *anything* about authenticating Bally? Nobody has ever replied to the 'authenticate this bally' posts so I don't think it's worthwhile even trying. Particularly anything vintage... that must be next to impossible!

If someone, anyone, please, could help me out here I'd really be happy

Even basic tips are better than nothing!
