Thank you! The laces have some dark color at the base near handle (zoom in) is that just residual un faded? It confuses me for paint… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hello. I am new here and I need your help to identify, understand some things about my balenciaga city. I just bought a bag from Vestiare and I’m really confused. This is the first balenciaga bag I ever own, so I have no idea how it should look and feel . The leather feel like almost sticky , not as I imagined it to be- smooth and pleasant to the touch. When I tried to wipe it down , as anyone would do to a 20 year old bag, the color started to come off on my baby wipe , and then I started to inspect it and I found a lot of …. Yellow beneath my black balenciaga . I don’t know if this is supposed to happen , is normal, or is this a horrible fake . Please help .

Just scrolled back and see your photos. What’s provided looks okay, authenticity wise, but would need pics of the bales etc., to authenticate.

The leather looks like it might have been dyed, or coated with something, but also not able to know for certain without handling it.

Also I tried to search for the year and color released in that season, but I cand find anything. I also suspect it was died as no leather comes yellow naturally and some insane person would make a black bag out of it ))

There was a yellow for that season (S/S 2004), for what it's worth!

Authentic
